“Couldn't have been better”
+Chalet Gaspard is a lovely place to stay. It's out of the way and feels quite different to being in a ski resort - it's in a farming village which for me is fantastic, I've had more than enough of busy ski resorts. The famous Valtournenche piste number one is right outside the door which was great for us, but if you aren't a reasonably competent skier it's not the easiest of slopes when coming home. Sergio, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I'd like to think I'll have enough money to return again one day. Everything about the place was perfect for me and my son. We were both sad to leave.
−A very minor point - a few more hooks and hangers on the walls would've been useful

“We had a great stay at Chalet Gaspard - highly recommended.”
+Newly renovated - nice and clean. The host, Sergio, is a top notch host. The location is absolutely perfect, 15 meter walk to the piste and ski down to the gondola and the restaurant, Le Moulin !!!

“Beautiful, welcoming piste-side chalet in perfect condition, lovely character and great views.”
+This is pretty much ski in and ski out. The red run is literally 20 metres from the chalet. In the morning you get on the red, ski down to the telecahin at the bottom and head up to the higher slopes. At the end of the day you ski pretty much to the door. The chalet was absolutely superb, very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed. We had three rooms, one with a kitchen, which was handy. My wife and I slept on a bed settee but you wouldn't have known; it was really comfortable, good quality. Ski room was handy. The owner, Sergio, was an amazing guy; so helpful and friendly. A couple of times he helped us out by picking us up when we went out and one time he picked my son up when he missed the last lift back from Cervinia. There were 6 in our party and we would all go back in an instant.
−Everything was fine. Restaurants were a short walk away but that wasn't an issue for us.
