“Pech gehabt”

+Quirky and fun, this is a gorgeous place! Plenty of stairs, but luggage lift is a highlight! Would definitely return.

+We were greeted by a friendly host, which was one positive aspect. However, the air conditioning was not functional (with no response from the owner when we inquired about it), beds were very soft and uncomfortable and there were no soaps or shampoos provided in the room. The doors/windows in the room were also not in the best condition, so you felt like they were going to break if you opened them to let some air in (see above, AC not working). The breakfast spread was nothing to get excited over. We decided to head down the street for breakfast at a local cafe for the same price instead. We were also disappointed in the information provided by the b&b. The owner helpfully told us that the shuttle from the free parking lot up to the town was running on Sunday; we waited for over half an hour for the shuttle only to realize it was not running. Overall it was clean but very lacking.
