“Unable to access our booked accommodation and received no assistance when needed”

−Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I originally booked this motel on Monday and paid the required 50% deposit. For some reason, the remaining 50% was not processed, and the booking was cancelled. As soon as I became aware of this, I contacted the property through the Booking.com app, apologised, explained that I was travelling from Sydney, and advised that I was happy to make payment immediately. I received no response. To avoid any issues, I then made a new booking for the Friday and Saturday nights. Prior to arrival, I sent another message through the app advising that we would be arriving slightly after 11:00 pm due to the drive from Sydney. Again, I received no response. When we arrived, there was no reception, only a self check-in kiosk. Despite trying multiple combinations of the reservation ID, surname and booking details exactly as provided, the kiosk would not recognise our booking. The property advertised 24/7 assistance, so I called the mobile number displayed on-site three separate times. Each call went straight to voicemail, and nobody returned my call that night. As a result, we were left stranded late at night and had no option but to find alter

“Avoid if you can.”
+Close to town
−Dirty, especially the carpet, broken shelf in the shower, sharp and dangerous. Shower leaked all night., kept me awake. Carpet dirty. Felt dirty walking on the carpet in bare feet (yuck).

“Overall, more than satisfactory. We would be happy to stay there again.”
+A nice, smallish motel, conveniently located for our purposes. Surprisingly quiet considering the proximity of a main road. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed.
−Bathroom could have been better. Nice and spacious, but poorly designed shower screen which meant a lot of water on the floor.
