“Dont, pleeease dont, go elsewhere/ БЯГАЙТЕ ОТ ТАМ”
+The location, but that is the bait for a fraud
−I guaranteed with my debit card, the TOTAL price was 50bgn / €24. When I contacted the property they said I must pay additional taxes (8 BGN + 25 BGN) 😂 for AC and services 😆, have you ever heard of must pay options. When I ask what the.. is that, the gentle woman said - It’s booking . com rule, not ours, ask them. 😂 She told me that I was informed by email from booking 🤣 and then she wrote in perfect English her scam through booking message system, mimicking it was sent by booking and asked me again did u receive the mail, now you see it’s booking rule we cant do anything. 🤣🤣🤣 I guaranteed with my bank card but a bug in the bank system saved my money from this scam I can’t believe booking still tolerates this. There is an option to request a free cancellation, but guess what they will not let you get your money back 🤪 I am Bulgarian and I apologise to all Bulgarian guests for this type of persons who make our country look like, you know. I hope better times come soon, stay safe and stay away from everything below 5.0 even if u have no other choices around.

+Location was great
−They charged me 8 lev for air conditioner then another charge on top of that, was meant to cost 51 lev but they charged me 69. On top of that the air conditioner wasn't even plugged in and they told me I needed to plug it in myself so I had to climb up which was really dangerous and I nearly fell.

−I didn't stay at this place. Booked on booking.com for £20 then the owner requested £35. An interesting way to conduct business. When asked why the price was different there was no response. I ended up booking something else last minute who asked for the price on the booking. Not sure what booking.com is doing with these people. Also, if I was in a tight spot and was desperate enough... I would have had to pay this.

+THIS IS A SCAM. I rated it 1 because there's no lower option
−This is a complete scam. They show a low price and ask for your bank details to secure the booking. After you book, they double the price. If you cancel, they charge you the full room price. This is illegal under European law, but Booking.com allows it and doesn't see any problem.

“Misleading posting & lack of communication from the hosts”
+I liked that I had a place to rest my head and there was hot water.. the bare minimum lol
−The address was not the one listed! I booked this place specifically for its location, but then it turned out it we had another 30 mins walking.. No communication about this from the owners after I made the reservation, absolutely no warning - we arrived, I called and was told "Oh but we have put you in this other apartment." It's cheap, yes, and you get an idea of the state from the photos. What you don't see is the impossible to close door of the wc/bathroom (1m x m), the "strobe" bathroom light that can make you dizzy at best, or the semi-ripped off wallpaper, and you can't hear the noise the doors make .. To top everything off, they put us (a group of 6) in one room! This was not even listed as an option when making the reservation. There were no photos of rooms with more than 3 beds. I specifically left a message about having twin beds in one of THE 3 ROOMS I WAS BOOKING. But nobody bothered to read or again - nobody bothered to respond and provide information, since I was clearly under the impression I was booking multiple rooms.
