“Not worth the hassle- lack of communication with the owners & very poor facilities”
+It was cheap
−What didn’t go wrong. I arrived at the property, having specified my arrival time the day before, and after an hour and a half of trying to communicate with the property owner i eventually got into the house. I was not informed at all prior as to arrival how I would get access to the property, and after struggling with a lock box at the front door and having to call three different numbers I eventually found the key under a plant pot. One of which (the phone number belonging to the properly owner) was inaccessible as they were out of the country and another was a local plumber. After eventually getting into the house, I discovered that there was no hot water, and there was no hot water or heating until three days later as I had to personally arrange a time to get it fixed with a plumber. When I eventually got access to hot water the shower pressure was terrible. The property itself is pretty shabby, there was old food and half-used ingredients such as oil left from previous guests which attracted fruit flies and there was mold in the fridge. Additionally, there is no oven, just a microwave, an air fryer and a camping stove. I was staying at this property by myself as a young female

−I couldn’t find the key she didn’t tell me where it was She didn’t clean the Airbnb until I go in I had no electricity so I had to drive home I got proof of the receipt of haven’t no electricity I would like my money back as i didn’t even stay there I went home same night as I check in

“Dirty. Shared bathroom Poor communication”
+Dirty. Very dirty. Poor communication with the person. She would not reply quick. Bathroom is shared with a Katherine room. Basically is house with 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Fridge was full of old tapestries with food, garbage, dirty dishes and in my own bedroom was awful dirty carpet cupboard had dirty socks in. I leftwothout.looking back

+Nothing, owner didn't answer the phone for over an hour whilst we were waiting outside. Then pretended to have been "in the bathroom". By this time I had already found somewhere else. Stay away from this place, even if you do stay, the actual house looks abandoned and dilapidated.

−TV broken... kitchen area needed a clean. limescale in the kettle was abundant. frier needed to be thrown away... washing machine was functional but no drier.. cheap for a room but why advertise free wi fi, netflix, modern kitchen and accessories if its a lie.

“DO NOT STAY - READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS - YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED”

−Everything!!!!! There is totally NO CONTACT AT ALL - owner lives abroad and manager is impossible to reach. The place is dirty and has had NO HOT WATER FOR AT LEAST 4 MONTHS!!! Keys are a joke and you really cannot expect to be guaranteed a room even if you book!!! We were lucky because we stayed over the Easter weekend and on Thurs someone stayed in the other room from us but no-one came to clean it on Fri or Sat, Sat when we returned there was a girl here who had eventually managed to get in to find a dirty room waiting for her so she had to find some clean sheets and make her own bed!!! Less than an hour later a family of 4 turned up who had booked the WHOLE HOUSE!!! Both us & the other girl were booked to stay until Monday so we're not sure what happened to them 😔 We will be far more cautious in future when booking, this has opened our eyes fully as to how some accommodation is managed (or not managed in this case) PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHEN BOOKING THIS ACCOMMODATION 🙏
