“Pleasant stay near Sausilito with views of the bay”
+Lovely property wth a beautiful view (from some areas) of the Golden Gate Bridge. Very efficient, friendly staff.
−No air conditioning and not conveniently located for public transport. Paid parking. We requested a room with unobstructed views of the bridge three times, since we literally traveled from the opposite side of the world for this visit, yet we were allocated a room with views obstructed by trees.

“Always a pleasure just love the atmosphere”
+History , bicycles, hiking, food, Lexus experience.
−The help has to use electrical carts to move around the property, sometimes too fast.

“Beautiful with great food and flawed systems/service”
+Beautiful place, excellent chefs... but they overbooked and had to send two of our team to a different hotel 10 minutes away, and then checked me into a room in which the prior guest was STILL there, dressing! They've got a ways to go to become a first class destination.

“Love Cavallo Point - Will return”
+I absolutely love Cavallo Point! The location is incredible, with such a beautiful setting right at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. One of my favorite parts of the stay was being able to take a morning hike to the Golden Gate , such a special way to start the day. Breakfast was wonderful, and having parking right next to the room was incredibly convenient. I didn’t have time to experience the spa during this visit, but I know it’s incredible and would definitely make time for it on my next stay. Overall, Cavallo Point is such a unique and special place. I would absolutely return!

“Underwhelming Experience”
+The historic lodges are very shabby and run down. The walls are paper thin. The top floors have slanted walls, which eat up some of the useable space. The lighting is poor, making the room look dingier. The main benefit is the proximity to Muir Woods and the Golden Gate bridge. The website shows a much more quaint property than is the case in real life. Very limited dining option for kids in the morning (basics like pancakes are not offered Mon-Fri).

“Lovely place poorsleep”
+Stayed two nights. Both nights included preventable broken sleep in the early morning by faulty equiptment and a delivery truck.
