+This property is on the 7th floor with unobstructed views towards Palermo & facing the Med Sea. The property is immaculately clean, well serviced & very functional with all appliances required to cook meals in (if required). The bathrooms were super & beds comfortable. There's a washing machine available. Decor may not be to everyone's taste but the place feels spacious, airy & guests are well catered for. We didn't have too much of a problem with not being native Italian speakers. Palermo has a nice feel to it & is well worth seeing. The area feels safe, though dog-fowling and uneven, poorly lit pathways are an issue, albeit, not one the owner can readily sort. Public transport around the city is very frequent though finding a hire car was problematic. The pizzeria (Misty's?) below served good fare. Owner Francesco kindly picked us up & returned us safely to Palermo airport on arrival in much comfort & style - a small fee requested covers his fuel costs. If you are going to Sicily, I'd highly recommend this property to stay in.

“Lovely apartment, great views and confident location.”
+The apartment is spacious, clean and enjoys lovely views of the ocean from both elevations. The immediate area around the apartment offers a really nice gelateria and a few shops, cafes and restaurants but is generally basic. Mondello beach is very easy to get to on the bus and Palermo itself is only a short bus ride away too. The apartment was great value for money and very comfortable. The owner was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
−The immediate area around the apartment is pretty basic and run down in places, but it was very convenient getting around to the town and beaches so on balance we were very happy.

+Amazing find! The view, the location, the apartment is huge and so is one of the two balconies. The stores/restaurants around are amazing, you have easy access to public transport, you can request airport transit as well. Absolutely recommend!

“Beautiful apartment overlooking the beach”
+A great sized apartment in a resident block with views over the beach from the front balcony, and Palermo in the distance from the rear balcony. Very clean and comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Local restaurants, good bus links and a private car park are available. Would not hesitate to recommend.

“Amazing view”
+We loved the location and views from the apartment and the beach was a cross the road and a 5 minute walk . Restaurants close by and bus stop out the front to go into Palermo, had a secure car park which was also a great feature. Had a large balcony which we used every day
−Unfortunately after driving around Sicily we were looking forward to do washing. The owner advised it wasn't working and would be fixed the next day , this was not to be the case and wasn't repaired for our stay. The iron also didn't work and the previous guests had left dirty dishes in the cupboard which we needed to wash before using

“Great apartment with marvellous views”
+The apartment is located outside of Palermo which is nice, especially when traveling to places to the West of Sicily, including the famous Mandello beach. The apartment had a terrace with a marvellous view on the sea and the mountain, and a balcony on the other side facing the sea and Palermo. It also had a free parking with a dedicated spot and with a fence, so it was very safe to leave there the rented car. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was very convenient. The apartment overall is very spacious and clean. The host met us to hand over the keys and gave some hints on places to visit and nearby restaurants.
−It's a minor thing and rather an advice for other travellers - when making the booking make sure you choose not only the number of people but also the number of rooms. We didn't pay attention to the latter and were offered one room for the two of us upon arrival although we expected to have the full apartment with separate bedrooms for each of us. Luckily, the host was flexible and the issue was easily resolved, each of us got a private bedroom. We had to pay extra but the amount corresponded with what we'd have to pay during the booking process if we chose the right number of rooms.

+Great location of the apartment, view of the sea and mountains, 5 minutes walk to the beach, near the bus stop - 15 minutes to the center. Francis was very helpful, he also offers a transfer from and to the airport. Great holiday in Palermo.
