“Great location to tour Matera. Her B&B made it feel like you were in a beautiful cave.”
+Casastella was a very warm friendly Host. Our bedroom overlooked the Sassi Caves. Our breakfast was a continental variety of sweets, breads and fruit. Excellent Cappuccino and/or tea/coffee with breakfast. Parking was free within 100 meters of the B&B. We parked our car and walked to restaurants and sites. She arranged a private tour for us before we arrived of Matera. We enjoyed many good laughs and talks through Google translation. It was so nice after many years to see Casastella who has become a friend to us. My wife and her enjoyed a great reunion.
−Most of Italy do not turn the heat on in the rooms until Nov 1.

“Casastella feels like family!”
+Perfectly located to see Matera , Casastella gave us a warm welcome from Manuela, in a beautifully renovated “cave “ dwelling, with domed ceiling and a fantastic room with an incredible bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and we then had a tuktuk take us around to see the very hilly town. The driver was Manuela’s son, Andrea! Casastella is a great family affair! Highly recommended!

“Excelente.
