“Will certainly return.”
+The building and the grounds were lovely. It was dark and silent at night so we slept very well. The place was very clean and new. Our double bed was excellent-good quality linen but I think white is always nicer for hotel beds. Shower was efficient even though it took a very long time for water to arrive-so be patient. Dinner was outstanding and of excellent quality. It was simple to get back on the motorway. Turn right at the bottom of the tree lined avenue and dont rely on sat nav.
−Avoid using a sat nav to get there! The roads were narrow, full of potholes and cars travelled too fast along them. In the end some very kind locals took us to the hotel. Breakfast was a basic affair with no bread to start with. Also although there was cereal, there were no bowls, milk or cereal spoons. We thought there was an a la carte menu for breakfast but we weren't offered one.

“Very stylish and modern”
+Very stylish newly renovated accommodation. Clean and stylish bathroom. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding.
−It was so new it felt a little unfinished. We ate in the restaurant and despite being the only guests service was very slow and it lacked atmosphere. Our food was overly salty. Breakfast was fine but there was a lack of basics like bowls and spoons for cereal,we were given glasses and teaspoons instead.

“A welcome interlude for weary travelers, pampered hospitality.”
+Convenient location just minutes from autostrada yet off the beaten track and in an idyllic tranquil rural setting. Brand new, tastefully appointed and clean. Federico was the consummate host, sharing anecdotes and making us feel at home. Also thoughtfully presented us with a bottle of his own extra virgin olive oil. Home grown farm produce and the finest ingredients underscored our sumptuous meals.

“Sehr gut.
