“Average! Not Bad!”
+Our stay in Casa Umoja was nice, specially the location is a 10-steps from the beach. My kids were entertaining their time with this lodge. Specially my elderly son enjoyed his time with those quite dogs. We were outside until 9:00pm, the environment was safe and secured. There were also a lot boat trip organizers around but we used "Lulu", located outside at the exit of this lodge. I have got them very informative, careful and responsible for their customers. We were also grateful for the lodge staff called -Sula- she was a nice addition for the lodge to manage when there are concerns regarding anything inside, I also appreciate the information she fed us before going outside, thank you.
−Do not expect a cozy breakfast, they served very basic thing and same thing for all your staying dates. It would have been also best to clean the room everyday. I was asking but they responded- they provide cleaning service every other day. But for the lodge located by the sides of the beach, cleaning service should be non-compromised because surely there will be a sand and dust came from outside at least with slippers.

“Terrible”
+The place id good,only 5 min to beach.The garden is fantastic.
−The smell in the rooms was terryble.The lights wad very weak,I do not know why.The WiFi works on very short distance near reception.There was 4 large dogs and 9 puppies.If you are alergic to dogs, be care.

“Four nights at Nungwi North”
+We stayed 4 nights at Casa Umoja. It is an authentic place, but it looks old fashioned . Inside the compound it is quiet, but at night one can hear the music from the surrounding bars and restaurants. We liked the short walking distance to the beach and the family room, which gives space for 5 people. The breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful.
−It would be good to provide electricity during blackouts, which happen in Zanzibar regularly. The Hotel does not have a generator, and it is not using solar power, not even solar lamps for security. In general the security is lacking. The main gates are all day open and there was no security guard, who protects the compound, besides some dogs, which are not really guarding. Zanzibar is still a poor island, and along the beach one can see many people who take drugs and suffer from alcohol abuse. We did not feel safe at nights.

+Nagyon tetszett, hugy autentikus egy egy parányi "dzsungel" közepén van. Jó feelingű.
−Nem takarítottak naponta a szobát, sőt nem takarítottak! A reggeli elég szegényes volt, minden nap ugyan az...egy idő után már vágytunk volna már másra.

“Umoja, unidos!”
+La bienvenida de los hermanos que trabajan allí fue muy bonita y siempre me ayudaron si tenía cualquier pregunta y también te ayudan a encontrar cualquier actividad que quieras hacer, siempre fueron súper amables. Tienen unos perritos muy bonitos que son parte de la familia del hotel y cada día te reciben con besitos! El desayuno es muy bueno, y el espacio y el jardín grande que tienen te ayuda mucho a relajarte y estar como en casa.
−La ducha estaba bastante oxidada y en algún momento, creo que porque el chico de la habitación de arriba y yo nos estábamos duchando a la vez, el agua dejó de funcionar. En la habitación había demasiada humedad que incluso mi ropa mojada nunca se secaba, pero los chicos me dejaron una plancha para poder secar mi camisetas y que pudiera llevarme la ropa seca. Asi que siempre encontramos una solución!

“Viaggio four girls”
+Buona posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge la spiaggia. La prima camera assegnata era spaziosa per 4 ragazze, l' abbiamo cambiata solo per un problema di connessione wifii. Personale disponbile e molto gentile. Sono presentu dei cani da guardia davvero amichevoli con gli ospiti. Colazione abbondante con frutta , omelette, pane e pancake.
−Colazione abobondante ma un po' repititiva. Purtroppo, ma e' un problema di tante strutture a volte salta la corrente ma si tratta di un breve periodo, e a volte bisogna aspettare per aver disponibile l'acqua tra una doccia e l altra, ma su in isola e' abbastanza comune
