“Lodging in great location in Cluj Napoca”
+I lucked out in finding this lodging. It is within a few hundred meters of the Cluj's Botanical Garden. It is also only a few blocks ...downhill and then level... from the city's main square. I couldn't have asked for a better location! I happened to arrive at a time when the owner/manager had arrived so we were able to arrange everything quickly. I thought the common bathroom was clean and the property was well-lit at night, both inside and outside. I also think the neighborhood was safe.
−I think this is a good place to get a room and sleep the night. It is excellent for this purpose. I suppose the guest should expect more of a "D-I-Y" vibe when getting travel information, a taxi reservation, etc. I suppose I was kind of expecting some assistance such as one might get from a concierge in a hotel ... but this location is not really set-up this way (and it shouldn't be, actually.) So, just be clear-eyed about what Casa Thomas Cluj is offering and enjoy it for that reason. Some of the frills of a hotel may not be available, and that is fine. Truth is, price was great and I am thankful.

−The room was unfortunately very cold, and there was no hot water in the shower, and it was the coldest week of winter. There was no internet connection although I had previously warned that I needed to work from there. The staff helped giving instructions on how to go from bus station to the room.
