10.0+Beautiful stay with a beautiful family I had such a wholesome visit. It felt like staying with a family friend which is delightful for someone travelling long term. I had my own bathroom and double bed making it great value for money. I also had a late bus on my last day and had access to my room until 9pm with no extra cost. Breakfast was simple and made with love. And they even arranged a ceramics class for me and escorted me to it. I hope it will be able to return again

9.0+I had a lovely time staying with Vicky and Mirita - you get an authentic Peruvian family experience that you just don't get from staying in a hotel. Comfy bed and hot shower, and delicious food!
−It's a little far from the centre but you can get a taxi easily and cheaply (around 10 soles).

10.0“A truly perfect stay that felt just like home”
+We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mirita. We were welcomed by two lovely sisters who immediately made us feel at home. The house is very comfortable, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated. We also received plenty of great tips for visiting the city and the nearby attractions. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits from the market, typical Cajamarca cheese (a must-try!), creamy avocados with fresh bread from the bakery, tea, and excellent coffee. What more could you ask for? I can only highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cajamarca!
−Everything was great !

10.0“Exceptional”
+It’s a beautiful experience staying with two lovely sisters who open their Peruvian home to you. The house is. 30 min walk from the center but it’s easy to catch a taxi. The hosts are lovely and make sure you feel like home, they also have good advice for tours and are happy to help. The breakfast was amazing and healthy and I really enjoyed my time here, it’s a very special place!

10.0“A beautiful home away from home 🧡”
+The rooms are very comfortable. Vicky and Mirita are so kind and welcoming. You are able to cook in their wonderful kitchen or have food prepared for you. The hosts are very generous and will go above and beyond!(I left a pair of socks and they not only came to the bus station to drop them off to me but they also cleaned them…they had never been so clean!). Vicky works in the tourism office so knows a lot of interesting things to do. She connected me with an amazing ceramic factory where they have classes on ceramic making and painting. I also went to a beautiful art exhibition with her. It is a very homely and comfortable place in a good location. My favourite place I have stayed so far on my visit. Could not recommend more!

9.0“Amazing stay, my first guinea pig meal cooked by Mirita, lots of visits to Banos del Inca. Thumbs up especially if you a”
+I chose Casa Mirita because I am travelling solo and was looking for a more inclusive situation rather than just staying at a hotel, and I wanted to improve my Spanish. Casa Mirita was a very pleasant experience, and Vicky and Mirita really made me feel at home. Vicky works in tourism and was super helpful directing me to things to do and helped me along when I needed it due to my Spanish not being quite good enough yet. She also took me and the other guests to Kuntur Wasi on her day off, so we had our private guide. I chose to stay in Cajamarca for a few days because there are so many things to see and do but also because of the Banos del Inca. I went there many times, grabbing a moto taxi early in the morning (10 soles) and taking the colectivo back (2 soles). I definitely recommend Casa Mirita for a authentic experience.
−The location is a bit far from the center, but it is walkable and motos and colectivos are a really good option. I love riding in the colectivo!

10.0“Homey and welcoming!”
+We stayed for just one night but the hosts were so kind and welcoming! They greeted us with tea and cookies and gave us directions to the bus stop the next evening. The place is quaint and cute. The rooms are small but were big enough for our belongings, so what else do you need? The was a common room with books and games to play. It was a lovely stay with a homey feel, I would recommend to anyone staying in cajamarca!
−Slightly far from the main plaza but this was no issue, easy enough to walk or take a mototaxi for a few soles!
