“The price was good. The rooms were clean. The hotel is relatively close to the town center in the Marina.”
+The A/C worked, the rooms were clean. The common outdoor area kitchen area was comfortable and clean.
−The beds were harder than I expected. Other than that no issues.

“Property is closed, I guess? Cancelled our booking once we arrived and left us scrambling. Avoid”
−Prepaid for the entire stay. Arrived on time to find the property locked, vacant, and closed. It took a while to get in touch with the property management, who apparently had forgotten our booking. They promised to get back to me in a bit, but then just cancelled the booking without comment. Left us scrambling to find a new place to stay. Thankfully we had rented a car, or that would have been much more difficult.

“My room was very simple, but the patio, kitchen and location were excellent.”
+I loved the location- one block from the beach, and in a quiet neighborhood. I also loved the patio and shared kitchen areas. It was nice to have a common area to meet other travelers. The hostess was very kind, but my limited spanish kept our communication simple.
−My room was large and had 2 beds. One was too hard to sleep on. The other was very firm, but I could manage sleeping on it. The only window to my room did not have a screen, so if I opened it, mosquitoes came into the room. With the window closed all week, the room got very warm and stuffy, even when I used the air conditioner. The fan helped to circulate the air.

−Hands down the worst check in experience of my life. We booked four rooms for one night here for us and our friends. We called the reception an hour before 3pm to ask a question and she said she was busy and hung up on us. We called her back and she said we had to be at the hotel at exactly 3pm to check in. At 3:02 she text us saying she was going to leave in the next 2 minutes to run errands. Her attitude and voice was impatient and rude. We arrived at the guesthouse and she had only 2 rooms available, when we had booked 4. She was incredibly rude and said this was our problem. We showed her our booking confirmation and she said this was through booking and not direct and blamed us for not calling to confirm - which we had actually done before she hung up on us. She got ruder and louder, refusing to cancel the booking through booking.com so we could get our deposit back and insisting we take 2 double beds between 6 people - even though we had clearly booked 4 rooms. She eventually slammed the door in our face leaving us with nowhere to stay. Strongly recommend nobody ever stays here. Mexico is wonderful, Baja in particular - this woman was the lowlight of months traveling here.

+Aparte q booking no me resolvio, porque yo llegue a mi reservacion y la señora q atiende ahi es una grosera. Pésima su atención y nos corrió. Y booking no me resolvió nada y aún asi me cobraron, y eso q no me hicieron el checo in, no vuelvo a reservar con booking y tampoco vuelve a quedarme en ese mugrlso hotel
