“Wonderful”
+Really lovely house in a picturesque position with lots of nice touches like welcome gifts. Great communication with the host and hosts Father , very kind and thoughtful . Fabulous natural swimming spot nearby . A all round fabulous experience.

“Nice location, but a few issues.”
+Really liked the quietness of the location, it’s a 30 second walk to the sea dip, great views of pico volcano, easy parking and driving, nice bbq.
−Unfortunately the property hadn’t been cleaned from the last guests when we arrived in the evening, after having been travelling since 3am. The host did quickly get her father round to clean and change bedding etc, but not what we wanted after a long days travel. Also when we went to use the oven, it cut the electrics to the whole house. Again, the host was responsive and got her father round to look at this, and when it couldn’t be fixed, we used the oven in the other property, but again, frustrating after a long day of walking where we just wanted the oven to work.

+Beautiful quiet location. Beds were very comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. Outdoor seating area nice with usable grill. Easy to find and park.

+The accommodation and its location were fantastic. Just a few meters away from the sea. A direct view of the sea in front, and looking behind, one can directly see Mount Pico, the volcanic mountain. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything one would need. There were several capsules available for the Nespresso machine (including decaffeinated ones). There's a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Independent check-in was facilitated, and they were quick to respond to questions. If needed, laundry can be picked up and washed (no washing machine available in the house). If desired, one can use the barbecue area in front of the house. There are ample parking spaces in front of the house. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was great. There's also a TV, though it's not visible in the photos. Note: One should consider renting a car and doing the main grocery shopping in a bigger city beforehand. There are small stores nearby, but they are somewhat pricier. However, we can definitely recommend the Cafe/Restaurant CAMPO RASO, which is about a 15-minute drive away.
