“A very nice stay”
+The rooms and bathrooms were big and comfortable. The house was recently renovated and the rooms and bathroom are modern; the living room has a great view, as one of the rooms we stayed in, and is decorated in the town doctor style. Breakfast was very good. There was fresh bread, milk, juices, and other options... many more than I expected. The other guests were nice and we had alternative eating times :-) We also had dinner there, which we brought and ate there. The only noise was our own. The pool was a plus. The lady was incredible nice and we chatted a little to get to know more about the home. We were lucky to be there during the religious night ceremony in which we participated and enjoyed a live light fado concert. GPS took us there without any issues or wrong turns.
−It is a bit far from Geres towns... but we were aware of that when booking. The pool "closes" just before midnight so I couldn't go for a night swim as we stayed till the end of the live concert :-D The pool had a several dead bugs which is normal in the countryside. There was equipment to clean it but I didn't bother using it.

+It's a lovely place and spacious with a beautiful view. Marta was very kind. It was just us and our friends so we had the house to ourselves. I could see having a large group there in better weather. Would be fun!
−The location is a bit remote, but close enough to Moncao and many vineyards. Google maps did not take us to the correct house but Marta met us and guided us to the right spot. Wifi was problematic.

“This was a great place to stay, at an amazing price. You need a car though.”
+Selfservice breakfast was very good; free usage of the kitchen and the meal area a plus; beautiful location although a bit remote. An extra bed for the kid without even asking for it was a nice gesture. The guesthouse itself was amazingly refurbished recently. And the host is great!

“Stunning views and relaxing time”
+We've stayed at Casa do Desassossego in early July and loved it. Thus, we decided to return, this time with some family. The facilities are exceptional, and Marta, who is the carer of the house, is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is simple but precious if you want to enjoy yourself. The views are beautiful and there's a pool.

“Really nice place to spend some days with all the confort!”
+We liked all the facilities, the pool, the garden, the space outside for barbecue. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were amazing! Although, the house is located in a small village it had everything that we needed for a nice weekend. The person who received us was very kind and extremely helpful! The breakfast was also really nice :)
