10.0“Very nice hotel with great hosts that make you want to change your travel itinerary.”
+The house and gardens are beatiful! So many flowers, a very nice hot tub and all through solar energy! When using the hot tub at night we could see so many stars. The hosts, Mabel and Nigel, are amazing as well! They gave very good recommendations on what to do and were always eager to talk and make sure our stay was enjoyable. Me and my family are thinking of returning to Peru just to stay here again.

2.0“Stressed and unfairly judged by emotionally dysregulated and unapologetic hosts”
+The setting and the views over the Sacred Valley are genuinely beautiful. Sadly, that is where the positives ended for us.
−Do not stay here if you expect a welcoming, professionally run hotel. We had a confirmed booking and had given advance notice of a late check-in; Nigel messaged on arrival day that we should cancel if we could not arrive before 18:00. We reached his desk at 20:04, four minutes past a 20:00 curfew he announced on the spot. Nigel shouted at me, said I was "bang out of order", and got up and stood over me while I was seated, which I found intimidating. He refused to check us in, then his wife Mabel woke us, including my daughter, an hour later to demand I come downstairs and check in - completely contradictory, and there was clearly no communication between them. Neither ever apologised for Nigel's behaviour. After I complained, Nigel claimed to Booking.com that I may have been under the influence of an intoxicating substance. I was not: I had just driven a 4x4 all day and was tired and shocked by how we were treated. I consider this claim unfounded and defamatory. Access is near impossible before or after dark: no signposting, a confusing muddy route, and one usable guest parking space for a five-room property, with Nigel calling out "arrow, arrow" instead of helping us open the door

10.0+Fantastic hospitality, kindness and wonderful location, garden and clean and comfortable home. If we could have given 11/10 we would. Nigel, Mabel and Oren and the dogs were the best hosts. We don't leave good reviews too often, after all it's best to save the 10 for exceptional and this hit the mark in all ways. Thankyou.

10.0“Peaceful retreat with stunning views and thoughtful owners!”
+Private, secluded, clean! Every detail was meticulously thoughtful. Very few places are this well completed in Peru.

10.0“A must stay if coming to the Sacred Valley”
+Amazing place to stay in the Sacred Valley. Fantastic views of the Pisac Ruins from your bedroom and breakfast table. Not to mention the unbelievably beautiful starry sky to be enjoyed from the hot tub with a beer or glass of wine in hand. Nigel and Mabel went above and beyond throughout our stay organising taxis from the airport and up to Cusco as well as shuttling us up to the start of the Pisac ruins walk. Moving onto the food. The breakfasts are fantastic and set you up perfectly for a busy day of exploring. The dinners are delicious and exceptionally well priced. I wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

10.0+We stayed 2 nights for my friend's birthday and it was such a lovely experience!! The facilities were amazing and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the included breakfast as well as the gorgeous views! The best thing about the stay though was Nigel and Mabel's hospitality - they clearly cared so much about us having an excellent time and they are such nice people! Thank you :)))
