“Magnificent spacious apartment with incredible VIEWS!”
+The view was magnificent, the room was very cosy, great size bathroom and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were unbelievable, couldn’t do enough for us! Clotilde is very kind and attentive without being obtrusive. The kids loved the treats she left for us ❤️ We will be back 🙌🏻

+We loved it here. Authentic Italian experience. Everything we needed and more. Fantastic host, warm and hospitable. Comfortable. Safe. Four females travelling together. Lots steps up to the property which really gave you that true Italian experience. Stop along the way admire the view.

“Disappointing with a beautiful view”
+The hosts were welcoming and kind. She baked a cake for our arrival and her husband brought out a beverage to toast our arrival. They had beach towels for us to use. The view was beautiful.
−The room did not fit the description or the pictures. Where there were supposed to be 2 queen beds, instead there was a double bed with a loft above and two children's size twin beds in the loft. The twins were hard, and short in length. The linens were all synthetic, Looney tunes themed with children's stuffed animals. The bedside lamp didn't work. We traded it for the one by the larger bed so we could see without waking everyone up with the overhead light. Many of the plug in lamps didn't work. There wasn't a fan to circulate air in the loft and the AC did not cool it down. . The air conditioning only worked in the bedroom, not in the shared kitchen where we thought we would socialize. As it was a heatwave, it was unbearably hot without air, so 4 adults crammed in the bedroom with a folding table we found by the stairs. There was a couch. I slept there instead of the twin in the loft, so I could get the benefit of the AC. The view was stunning, but too hot to open the doors. Directions were challenging, but we figured it out. The host said knock if you need anything, but didn't answer when we knocked repeatedly for assistance. I'm assuming they couldn't hear us, though we pounded

“A wonderful Italian experience”
+Clotilde, the owner, is such a lovely person and makes you feel so welcome in her home On arrival, Clotilde had made us a lovely traditional Italian cake and provided milk and fresh fruit in the fridge as well as other breakfast items The apartment is self-contained with a kitchen / living area where you will find everything you need The separate bedroom with air conditioning has a large, very comfortable double bed with two additional single beds above in a gallery type arrangement, an open plan style The property is lovely and clean and comfortable with superb views of Maiori If you want to experience a truly Italian stay, then look no further. This is Clotilde's family home, which she is very proud of, and the welcome is like visiting long-lost family The property is set above Maiori 5 min walk to the sea front or central part and accessible only by a lot of steps This was not a problem for us. However, people with difficulty walking would struggle, but if you can deal with the steps, you will enjoy a truly remarkable Italian Would I return 100% Thank you, Clotilde, for a wonderful time Steve & Donna

+We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious, the location was perfect, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. We truly felt at home, not like in a typical accommodation. The hosts were very kind, and Clotilde makes the best tiramisu , such a lovely surprise. Everything felt comfortable and easy. We would happily come back. ❤️

+The welcome from the owners was above and beyond anywhere else we have stayed. The accommodations were stocked with everything one could need and they answered any questions we had immediately and were so helpful in general.

+This felt like being at your grandma's home for a summer Holiday. Absolutely Authentic italian family, Clotilde and Antonio are so warm and friendly, i cannot imagine a better place to stay in Maiori. The Garden on the rooftop is awesome, you Can tell they love what they do. Room was super clean with a Nice view, it had everything we needed. Very Easy to find , there are.few Steps on the way but nothing to worry about, still very close to the city center And Also to the beach. Clotilde Made a fantastic tiramisu for us and a goodbye Apple cake to go. I recommend with All my heart and if we ever visit this Area again, we would definetly choose Casa Clotilde

+Clotilde & Alfonso are the best. After a couple of months solo travelling I was welcomed into their home and felt like a part of their family! The location and accomodation are perfect for exploring the Amalfi Coast and having more relaxation without all the tourists. I’ll miss my Italian nonna and hope to be back one day!
−Nothing - just note there’s quite a few steps to reach the property so possibly not ideal for those with accessibility concerns (or huge luggage).
