“Good location and excellent value for money.”
+Excellent location to reach key sightseeing locations as well as well connected to public transport links. Room was clean and comfortable. Great communication from host and very helpful with answering questions on arrival.
−The property and my room was very close to a main train line, so was quite noisy. There were less trains in the small hours of the night, but were considerable during the day and evening.

“Scammer hotel.”
−We stayed two nights and left with a poor impression, largely because of our experience at reception. We were charged €38 in city tax for two people over two nights. Milan's tourist tax for a 3-star hotel works out to under €30 for a stay like ours, so the amount didn't add up. When I paid with a €50 note, the receptionist said she had no change and told us to come back the next day. When we returned, she seemed surprised we'd remembered , and then told us the water bottles on the mantelpiece, displayed next to a "thank you" note, were actually €1 each rather than complimentary. The whole interaction felt misleading and got the stay off on the wrong foot. The room had further problems. The shower had no hot water and very weak pressure , likely because the hose was leaking and spraying water directly from the wall connection. Given the confusion around charges, I'd think carefully before booking here.
