+We were only there for one night, so we did not have an opportunity to avail ourselves of all the amenities. However, our brief stay was wonderful, comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. If ever again we are in Lisbon, this is where we'd like to stay.
−Our visit was too brief.

“An exceptionally beautiful haven in the heart of Lisbon”
+Casa Balthazar is an exceptionally beautiful haven in the heart of Lisbon- originally a bakery factory, it has been lovingly restored by the owner with so much attention to detail and fabulous artwork. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and the views across the city towards the castle were stunning. The spa itself was a great way to unwind each day after sightseeing. Would highly recommend staying there and would definitely stay there again when in Lisbon
−Nothing it was perfect

“Loved it, staff were helpful, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable”
+Location, view and layout. Historic interest courtyard garden quiet and relaxing. Honesty bar was useful and breakfast area beautiful
−Decked balcony in our room was old and drab, chairs in court yard uncomfortable and small to sit in whilst enjoying a beautiful courtyard garden and pool

“Beautiful central stay with lovely staff”
+Absolutely beautiful hotel, fabulous breakfast with fresh pastries and specialty coffee available all day. Great location in Chiado close to all the coolest neighborhoods. Very comfortable rooms with absolutely beautiful view of Lisbon. The true standout here was the staff. In particular the woman who works at the front desk (I forgot to get her name) was kind, warm, professional, and incredibly helpful, even walking with us to our taxi for the airport when we were having trouble. She truly made the stay exceptional (although coffee on the balcony with the best view in Lisbon also didn’t hurt).
−Nothing, would stay again tomorrow
