“Beautiful visual design, with a few minor hiccups”
+It's a lovely place, and like others have said, it's wonderful from a visual/design perspective. I had a nice stay for my two nights there. The staff members were all friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Two things did throw me off a bit, though...
−One, there's no breakfast (or there wasn't the days I was there). And since it's not the kind of hostel with a guest kitchen, that means you have to go out for morning coffee/breakfast (there's an OXXO across the street). Two, even though I asked for a bottom bunk before I arrived, and even though I was only the second person in a 6-person dorm, they still put me in a top bunk, above the only other person there. It was uncomfortable for me (climbing up and down all the time), and uncomfortable for the guy below me (having someone climbing around above him, shaking the bed while he's sleeping, etc.) Pure thoughtlessness. Fill the bottom bunks first! There were only two guests in the room the whole time.

“This is a great spot for a quick trip. Clean, affordable, but there is not communal kitchen. Close to a mercado and cafe”
+The space is clean, a bit removed from the center but very safe even walking alone at night.
−There was no hot water until the last day of my stay- and the magnetic doors were a bit noisy for those coming and going late into the night. In a shared room, I would definitely use ear pluggs.

+I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and hostels, but Casa Amate is definitely one of my favorites. It’s beautiful, spotless, and the staff are honestly some of the nicest people. But what I loved the most was how peaceful this place is. If you’re looking for somewhere to slow down and escape the busy streets, noisy hotels, party hostels, and everything else for a while, this is it. The moment you walk through the door, everything just feels calm. No traffic, no noise… just birds, beautiful architecture, and the feeling that you’ve found your own little paradise. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. 10/10. I’ll definitely be back. 🫶🏽

“Tal cual las fotos”
+El diseño, la arquitectura es increíble, además la cama era tan cómoda que descansé suficiente y muy bien para poder trabajar. La alberca estaba muy linda, sólo que estaba un poco sucia.
−El lugar está tan increíble que me sorprendió no ver tantas personas o actividades en el hostal, cuando viajo sola prefiero quedarme en estos lugares para conocer más gente y además hacer planes en conjunto con las personas que se hospedan en el lugar pero estaba solo, no había actividades y no fomentaba el lugar interacción o tips para ir a bares o algo.

+スタッフ、建物、ベッドルームの冷房、セキュリティ、ウォーターサーバー(お湯はぬるいのでカップ麺に向かない)。とても美しいホステルでした！
−バスルームは部屋の外にありますが、吹き抜けなのでトイレやバスルームに行くだけでも暑いです。電子レンジ欲しかったです。
