“Wonderful place to relax and forget about your worries.”
+Carmen and her husband are amazing, the food was fabulous, the room was comfy and spacious, and there were paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling gear available for use. Carmen also helped to organize excursions and went over and above helping some guests who had some unfortunately issues. Lovely setting, felt like part of a family.
−Loved the location, however, it was not well suited for evening exploring of the township... just bring a good book. :-)

+Loved everything about Carmen's place. Carmen and Marcel are wonderful hosts who really go the extra mile for their guests. The place is beautiful, very clean and generally super well taken care of. I don't think the pictures fully show how nice it really is. I felt welcomed and relaxed the second I got off the boat. On top of everything, Carmen is an amazing cook, so both breakfast and the family-style dinners were a real treat. I'm already looking forward to coming back 🙂

+I can’t say enough good things about Carmen! Her communication from the first moment of booking was outstanding. She was very responsive and helpful. She was booked whatever excursions we wanted and ensured we had safe boat drivers (some are drunk or high). She knows everything about the entire area and can give advice on excursions. She is super easygoing and goes above and beyond for all of her guests. She connects emotionally to her guests and will always be there when needed. She loves animals and so we all know that people like that must be good people! She is funny and entertaining. My sister and family who were staying elsewhere had some things go bad where they were staying. Carmen was on it! They weren’t even her guests, yet she stepped up immediately to help. She’s an incredible person with a huge heart! While staying here, I met repeat guests (5th time!). I was staying here alone but with the way she has her place setup with breakfast included and optional dinner (amazing fresh cooked dinners!), it is easy to meet the other travelers and feel part of a tiny community. Her husband catches fresh fish most days which is used for the tasty dinners. She is very creative with
−Dock entry was easy but due to low visibility you had to be careful to watch for stingrays (this of course was not in Carmen’s control so this is not a negative towards her place by any means).

“Muy recomendable”
+La amabilidad de Carmen y Marcel, te tratan como a uno más de su familia, te recomiendan actividades para hacer durante los días que estés en Bocas, las cenas y los desayunos que prepara Carmen son deliciosos y estas comidas te permiten conocer a gente de diferentes países. La casa es preciosa y las habitaciones son muy cómodas. La mejor experiencia que hemos tenido en nuestro viaje a Panamá.

+Wat een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Bereid je voor op rust, geweldige verzorging en goede verhalen van de eigenaars. Carmen en Marcel zijn twee schatten die het iedereen naar het zin maken. De jungle rooms zijn eenvoudig maar heel prettig. Goed bed, netjes en met een heerlijke uitstraling. Aanrader! Al voor aankomst goed contact, dus alles was picobello in orde.

“Posto incantevole”
+Certo 😊 Se siete a Bocas del Toro, questo posto è semplicemente imperdibile. Un soggiorno perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista! La proprietaria è una persona meravigliosa: super accogliente, sempre disponibile e capace di farti sentire davvero come a casa. Inoltre cucina benissimo, e ogni momento trascorso qui è stato speciale. La pulizia è impeccabile e l’atmosfera del posto è incredibilmente rilassante, ideale per staccare completamente e godersi l’isola. Si trova leggermente fuori dal centro, ma non è assolutamente un problema: ci sono tantissimi taxi boat economici che ti portano ovunque in pochi minuti. Un altro grande punto a favore è la disponibilità della proprietaria nell’aiutarti a organizzare le giornate, consigliarti escursioni e darti tutte le informazioni utili per vivere al meglio Bocas del Toro. Un posto autentico, tranquillo e curato con amore. Ci tornerei senza pensarci due volte!

“Casa para desconectar”
+La casa tiene muy buenas vistas. Está pegado aold bank. Es para ir a relajarse y coger lanchas que te lleven a otra playa, por que de otra forma no puedes ir a otros sitios. Nos ha gustado!! Los desayunos buenos, y ella te ayuda.
−La casa para moverse es barco 100%, y para ir an old bank pasas por una tablas raras, pero se puede pasar sin problema. La habitación no tiene aire acondicionado ni nevera. Pero nos gustó.
