3.0“Disappointing”
+Late check in was possible at night. Friendly receptionist.
−I specifically booked a private room to rest after a long trip from Europe, but the bed was in the same large room as the other beds, separated only by thin walls that didn’t extend to the ceiling. You could hear everything from other guests, and the entire bed shook whenever someone walked past, making it almost impossible to sleep. I also wasn’t given a key, so my belongings were unsecured. Breakfast consisted of some leftover toast and jam, with no fresh fruit. There was a strong smell throughout the place, and the washrooms had mould in some corners. I also received no reply when asking about collecting my forgotten charging cable.

7.0“Good price and great staff, but the "privacy" is limited: you share the ceiling, the noise and the light. Best”
+The bathrooms and cleanliness were very good. The common areas are big and comfortable. The staff was amazing, super friendly and easygoing.
−The private rooms are separated only by walls, but they share the same ceiling and the same open space, so you can hear everything. The lights are also left on all night and some smells carry through, which is mostly a problem when you're trying to sleep. If you're a light sleeper, keep that in mind. Breakfast is pretty basic: bread with jam and peanut butter, some cereal, and two kinds of milk.

1.0+The receptionist was very kind.
−This is not a Hostel, this is a temporary stay for crackheads that would otherwise sleep on the streets. When I walked in there was a 60 year old homeless looking man just pulling up his pants in the middle of the room. The room that has at least 50 beds but no window was a total mess. I am extremely disappointed that Booking would even let this accommodation sell on their website. This is a dangerous place and should not be offered to regular travelers!

1.0“RECONSIDER your need of stay”
+Location is perfect. Close to tram Southport South station. Parking on street is normally available before 9pm.
−MUST USE PASSPORT TO CHECK-IN. I travelled all states in Australia and I travelled in gold coast 4 times before this time. I stayed in more than 100 hotels in Australia and this is the first one only accept passport to check in. I first gave them TAS driving license but they refused. It is a domestic travel for me so I left my passport in Tasmania. They only emailed me to use passport to check in on the day of arrival. They DID NOT mention that when made booking. Also, the private room is not private. The wall is not sealed which means you could hear anyone talking. One guy took shower and left his phone in sleeping area and he got a call, everyone heard his phone ring at 1.30am. Will talk with my lawyer if we will make a report to ACCC due to suspect misleading advertisement on websites. NOT A SINGLE WEBDITE SHOWS THE WALL IS NOT SEALED.

8.0“Would stay again”
+Beds were so comfy and you didn’t feel like there were that many people with you. Stairs were easy to get up to top bunk
−A little bit unclean around the mattresses. Staff and regulars were the only loud ones but other than that, it was very quiet for 130 beds!
