10.0“It is a great experience and would certainly come back again!”
+So unique…the staff was amazing. The proximity to hiking Table Mountain. The views. The food, breakfast and high tea was always a gourmet experience.
−Some art work is a bit dark. And noise from main area at breakfast might awaken you.

10.0“Best place to stay in Capetown!!”
+This was the first stop in our African trip and it was amazing! The service of everyone at the house was exceptional! They were available with a smile anytime we were at the house to serve, advise on restaurants and laugh with us. From waiting at the door everytime we arrived, to serving us our favorite cocktails every evening and even ordering rice for us to have a homemade Cuban rice and eggs dinner one night our stay was better than expected in every way! Recommend this hotel 100%!
“Quality, first class boutique property in Cape Town”
+Camissa House in Cape Town is amazing. It's a small boutique property but it is huge on service and friendliness. The rooms are great and very comfortable and the ambience of the entire property is first class . But it's the butlers and staff who make the overall stay amazing. Examples we can share is Faseegh who happily took our camera to be repaired whilst we enjoyed the day touring. We only asked him to find out via calling a few places if anyone could help us the following day. Also, we missed high tea due to long days and when we didn't feel like going out, they made the most sensational salad at a property that is primarily B&B. And the breakfast selection and quality is first class. The chauffer drp off/pick up service is an excellent additional service provided too. Definitely would stay again and highly recommended.

7.0“Beautiful place, fantastic staff, disappointing room.”
+Beautiful lounge and bar, super friendly and helpful staff. Really tasty breakfast.
−The room was small at the price and the bed was uncomfortable. The cupboard lights did not turn off and the aircon points directly at the bed. No view. This room was very poorly designed and not thoughtfully apointed.
“Strongly recommend”
+Beautiful property. Excellent personalized attention. Upscale neighborhood. Beautiful views of Cape Town. Excellent food. Shuttle within 10 km readily available. Excellent rooms. Beyond expectations
“Exceptional property made perfect by outstanding service”
+From the moment we arrived, Camissa House exceeded every expectation. The property is stunning, and our room was beautifully designed and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was excellent, featuring fresh and delicious options. However, the true highlight of our stay was the butler service. The entire team was amazing, attentive, professional, and deeply committed to ensuring we had a wonderful time. They truly made our stay memorable. We will definitely be back!
“Honeymoon at Camissa House”
+The staff make this property special. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a hotel and more like staying in a private home, with personal service throughout our stay. Tumi was incredibly welcoming, always greeting us with a smile, and all the butlers consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When we missed afternoon tea, the chef thoughtfully prepared a cheese board for us so we wouldn’t go hungry. They also arranged an early breakfast on the morning of our departure, which was greatly appreciated. Ayanda was a lifesaver, always available to drop us off at and pick us up from nearby restaurants, making everything effortless. It was the little touches that made our stay even more memorable too like returning each evening to a turned-down room and finding brownies on our pillows. Camissa House is the kind of place where, even on a rainy day, you’d be perfectly happy relaxing at the hotel rather than feeling confined by the weather. We absolutely loved spending our honeymoon there and couldn’t have asked for a more memorable stay.
“Honeymoon”
+We spent the first few days of our honeymoon here and the staff was simply outstanding. The food was exquisite, and the Service was exemplary.
“Perfection in Cape Town”
+With only 8 rooms and abundent staff, this boutique hotel is intimate. The staff was exceptional - super friendly, engaging and helpful The head butler remembered our names immediately. The entire staff bent over backwards to help. The breakfast & afternoon tea, both of which were included with our stay, were both excellent and abundant. The rides into/from CBD or whatf after 5PM included in stay made the location very convenient while still out of hustle bustle. The rooms were great and beautifully done. When we return to Cape Town, we would definitely stay at Comissa House.
