“Very disappointing stay. We were moved to a different property at the last minute without the terrace we specifically bo”
+Bra placering om man vill bo i Trastevere.
−Extremely disappointing experience. We specifically booked this property because of the terrace. Then, when we had already arrived in Rome and were only ONE HOUR away from check-in, we were suddenly informed that we had been moved to another property a few blocks away. The owner actually described this as an “upgrade” and suggested we should be happy about it. It was absolutely NOT an upgrade for us - the new place had no terrace at all, which was the main reason we made the booking in the first place. At that point, we had no realistic choice but to accept it. After returning home, we contacted Booking.com, who apologized for the situation, but the owner refused to offer any compensation whatsoever. We did not receive what we booked and paid for, and it negatively affected our stay in Rome. Very poor way to treat paying guests.
