“We could have really enjoyed it with a little more effort on their part, room was clean.”
+Closeness to the beach, linens were clean could have used hand towels in addition to bath towels.
−The common area was dirty, many empty beer bottles and cans , no screens on windows, never been to place in Mexico where you had to buy your drinking water.

+Beachfront location is unbeatable, just walk downstairs into the sand. There's a small cafe downstairs that's very convenient as well. Super quiet and chill at night, no loud bars nearby.
−I stayed here a few times before and unfortunately this might be my last. A few days before arriving the hotel said my paid in full non refundable booking was no longer available. Instead they gave a different room which was run down and had none of the features of the room I rented - no oceanfront view, no terrace or outdoor furniture. Also no apology, no explanation, no making it right aside from an insulting offer of a $5 discount. I had to spend a good deal of time going back & forth with the owner instead of enjoying my time at zipolite. I get that it's a simple beach hotel but it doesn't have to be shady - seems like a bait & switch. If you can't trust a hotel to honour a paid reservation then why bother booking there at all.

+La ubicación del lugar es muy buena y si no fuese por el trato tan nefasto de la propietaria, hubiese pasado por alto la falta de limpieza del lugar y lo hubiese recomendado. Booking no me da el espacio para expresar como fue toda la experiencia y adjuntar las imágenes de evidencia. Pero en Google lo pondré completo.
−Reservé una habitación sencilla con aprox. 15 días de anticipación. Ese mismo día la propietaria me ofreció un upgrade a un bungalow más amplio, con cocina, terraza y vista al mar, explicándome que sería una opción más cómoda porque viajaba con mi mamá y mi hijo de 4 años. Acepté el upgrade y la propietaria me pidió que realizara el pago por transferencia en ese momento para asegurar la reserva. Lo hice y posteriormente me confirmó la reserva. En la llegada tuvimos que subir al bungalow por unas escaleras de madera muy estrechas y oscuras utilizando la lámpara del teléfono. Algunos escalones se movían y en ciertas partes no había barandal. Ya en la puerta, nos informaron que el bungalow que nos habían reservado estaba ocupado por la propia propietaria. La propietaria explicó dijo que había decidido cambiarnos de habitación porque los huéspedes de al lado estaban fumando grandes cantidades de marihuana y quería evitar que mi hijo estuviera expuesto al humo. Según la propietaria, ella no podía pedirles a esos huéspedes que dejaran de fumar porque "muchos van a eso" y porque, según ella, sus políticas no prohibían fumar. +La ubicación... Lugar muy cerca de la playa del amor. El Sr Rey siempre dispuesto a ayudar al huésped. Vista maravillosa.

“INCREIBLEMENTE SUCIA”
+EL LUGAR ES SUCIO, PÉSIMO SERVICIO, MÁS BIEN NO HAY SERVICIOS, TODO ESTA SUCIO ES COMO UNA CASA MUY VIEJA Y AL PRENTE ESTA UNA PERSONA DESORDENADA Y SUCIA. NO HAY ORDEN DE NADA. EL ACCESO DEL LUGAR ESTA SUCIO EN EXAGERACIÓN.
