1.0“The the experience of our trip!”
+We did not like a thing about our experience!
−After waiting outside in the heat for an hour we found out that the owner had sold our room to someone else! We had already paid for the room and all other rooms in the area were booked. We booked and paid for our room 6 months in advance.

7.0“The room was a great size and clean, however I was a little isolated as it was off season.”
+The room was clean. The owner graciously picked me up from the El Chepe train which was very kind. Because I waas travelling in the off season, the location was very quiet with not many people around. It was difficult to do anything unless you had a car or walked, or booked a private tour. Also my limited Spanish did not help the situation. It is a very interesting place and glad for the experience.
−I felt a little isolated but it does not help because of my limited Spanish. There were limited places to eat because it was the off season as well.

8.0“Quaint little property that’s a perfect base to explore Copper Canyon”
+Quaint little property in the heart of Areponapuchi. The beds were cozy and the heater helped in the cold nights. Hot water was really hot. Host also offered various tours, though we just needed rides to and from Parque Barrancas. There was a restaurant next door and a tienda across the street, and the bus to Chihuahua stopped right in front of the hotel. Overall, a great experience!
−Hot water ran out a couple of times but the host took care of it (needed to change a gas canister).

1.0“Not a good location. Especially with misleading average to good reviews. Not close to those positive ratings.”
+Nothing! Trash pit burning, not technology, limited hot water and poor customer service. You can cancel if you don’t like it here attitude.
−See above. Very disappointing and we left the property immediately! Future customers beware! Be very aware!

8.0“Nice Cabañas to immerse in nature”
+Spacious room, comfortable bed, warm blankets, nice rustic furniture, very clean good wi-fi. The host Fernando, took us from & to Divisadero for Chepe train. He offered interesting tours in the region & transportation to adventure park. This region is full of natural wonders and is very down to earth, the residents are so nice and friendly.
−Fernando is not so time conscious.

8.0“Very good”
+Convenient location in the middle of the town with easy access to the trailheads. Room was clean and comfortable and with AC and hot water. Owner also tried to pick us up on arrival by bus (at the Arepo junction on the main road) but unfortunately we lost signal on the way and couldn't update our arrival time).
−No complaints

10.0“Exceptional”
+Excellent service, very attentive, very comfortable, I highly recommend it! It is a very quiet place, they have internet and hot water. I went in november, at night it is very cool, but there is heating and many warm blankets. They offer many interesting tours of the area. Very close to the cabin there is a little store that has everything you need and almost in front of that little store is a little restaurant or dining room that offers you delicious breakfast and dinner.p

10.0“Exceptional”
+Spacious rooms with a really well working heating (much needed in winter/spring) slash AC (which we didn’t need). Good and hot shower. Beautifully located, at the start of a nice 1 hour hike to the adventure park. In general, the Copper Canyon is one of Mexico’s most beautiful landscapes and this hotel is right next to it. Pleasant host family who organized taxi rides to Divisadero for us and even picked us up on late notice after a long hike.
−There was no kitchen, even though that was advertised.
