“Very relaxing and beautiful place”
+Cabana is clean, in the calm and beautiful area. I was with my son, so full bed was ok. There is a ventilator which helps a lot to sleep at night. Only cold water but it’s a standard there and actually fine when it’s so hot outside. Perfect for kids as the owners also have kids and they have lots of fun exploring surroundings together. There is a small pond on the territory and well maintained garden. Very delicious cacao for breakfast. Drinkable water refill. The place is a bit remote from the village but if you like walking (20min aprox), it’s a nice safe trail with lights in the evening. We booked all our tours with the owner and the pick up place by boat was close, no need to go to the village.
−One night we stayed without water and that was really uncomfortable after day of sweating. Wet napkins appeared to be very helpful.

+We had a 3 night home stay with Charlie and his family. Our purpose built cabana overlooked the pond and was 100 per cent mosquito proof. Breakfast was excellent and on the family verandah. Highlights of the tours included the night walk where we saw a poison frog and lots of spiders, the all day tour to the lake seeing lots of birds and big trees, a swim in the lake and piranha fishing. On our final day we saw many river dolphins before crossing to the Peruvian side where we saw 5 sloths. It was fantastic. We also got a sense of the car free community of Puerto Narino. We have no hesitation in recommending Charlie and his tours. It was lovely to spend time with an family from Puerto Narino and seeing the Amazon through their eyes.

“Amazon adventures await”
+My son and I’s stay at Charlie’s place was amazing! The location just out of town, but within easy walking distance was peaceful and quiet. Our 2 cabañas were comfortable and clean. The tours that we booked for Charlie were fun and we learned lots about the Amazon and its people. José was our (English speaking) guide during our stay, and he was easy and wonderful to chat with and cooks a delicious breakfast. A true asset for Cabanñas Dechi. Thank you to Charlie and his charming family for a great stay and thank you to José for all the adventures!

“Unser Lieblingsort im Amazonas 🌿”
+Alles! Charlie und seine Familie haben uns für die Zeit gefühlt in der Familie aufgenommen, wir haben sogar manchmal mit gefrühstückt oder Mittag gegessen und dabei Charlies Geschichten gelauscht. Die von ihm organisierten Tours waren wirklich toll, gerade die Nacht im Dschungel mit Linu war echt ein Abenteuer. Die Cabaña war gut ausgestattet und wir konnten zu den Naturgeräuschen super schlafen. Es liegt ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg von Puerto Nariño, dafür ist man aber mehr in der Natur. Wir können den Ort wirklich wärmstens empfehlen. Gracias Charlie 💛

“Alojamiento familiar”
+Alojamiento sencillo con ambiente familiar. Charly y su familia te acogen en su casa, como uno más de la familia. Siempre pendientes de lo que puedas necesitar. La cabaña es básica, pero con todo lo necesario para pasar un par de días de forma confortable en medio de la selva. La cama y almohadas son cómodas, con mosquitera, ventilador y una mini nevera.
−La cabaña necesita unos colgadores para poder secar las toallas o alguna prenda humeda.

+Ich hatte einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesen tollen Hütten mitten in der Natur! Die Unterkunft wird von einer unglaublich herzlichen kolumbianischen Familie betrieben, die mich fantastisch beraten hat und super Touren organisieren kann. Sie kennen sich in der Gegend einfach bestens aus. Mein persönlicher Spartipp für alle Reisenden: Kontaktiert „NAINEKÜ Amazon trip“ für tolle, lokale und indigene Touren zu absolut fairen Preisen! Mein persönliches Highlight im Garten war der kleine Kaiman im Teich und natürlich die unvergleichliche Gastfreundschaft dieser Familie. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder!
−Vor Ort gibt es zwar kein Frühstück, aber eine tolle Alternative: Ab 8:00 Uhr öffnet das Restaurant Amazonas in Puerto Nariño, wo man sich bestens für den Tag stärken kann.
