“Very comfortable private cabanas in an excellent location. Highly recommend!”
+We loved our stay at Cabanas Amaia. It is up a hill in an excellent location off the main road with only a short walk to beaches, restaurants, etc. Julien was very helpful with detailed speedy responses to all of our questions during our stay. Our room was very clean, comfortable and equipped with a refrigerator which we appreciated. The plunge pool was key to cool off in on a hot day. I would highly recommend staying here.
−We had no complaints but the hill up to Cabanas Amaia is a bit steep and might be a problem for some people.

“Private charming bungalow for a very restful visit with a cute dipping pool”
+We had a lovely large private and pretty bungalow with a mosquito netted bed and a large ceiling fan. Bonus: we had a small fridge! Plus there was a huge jug of water at the welcome bungalow so we could easily fill up our water bottles. We also had a small private patio with a hammock and a couple of chairs - and tucked on the backside a spot to hang our swimsuit and towels. There is no view but lots of lovely greenery around the small refreshing pool. Morning coffee was offered up. And our very informative host gave us plenty of info. This was a healthy 15 minute walk up a hill (the whole area is quite hilly) from one of the main streets in Mazunte - it is located right across the street from a cemetery (and if you walk past that you hit the trail for the look-out point) or if you walk past Cabana Amaia and down the hill you get taken to another beach (enroute there is a coffee shop, live theatre, a poetry corner and a couple of other spots to check out). You can step outside the gate from Cabana Amaia and just a 3-minute walk there is a small store for drinks and snacks; a cute restaurant that we did not check out, and just before sunset many people heading to the lookout Point o
−Very secure gate to access the property and great locks on the door, I didn't ask but an extra set of keys would be handy as there were two of us. A sitting chair inside the bungalow would be handy - there were chairs outside on the patio.

+We had a wonderful stay at Cabañas Amaia. Julien was very accommodating, everything was clean, well designed and built. A short walk uphill from the town and the beach. The property is very shaded with a tranquil vibe. It was lovely to hang out around the pool or the cabin for a break from the sun.

“Vibe with hosts who get it in impeccably clean digs”
+Perfect cabana situated in beautiful landscaping, perched at the right location to drift in all directions. Returning always felt like coming home. Morning chats with the hosts/staff over local coffee were a joy.

“Una estancia para repetir”
+Nos encantó la estancia. El personal fue muy cálido y amable en todo momento y la cabaña estaba impecable, increíblemente limpia, además de contar con limpieza diaria. Nos gustó mucho que todas las ventanas tuvieran mosquiteras y, sobre todo, la sensación de privacidad que da estar rodeados de plantas y vegetación. En la habitación hay un mapa de la zona e información con diferentes actividades que se pueden hacer por los alrededores, lo que nos pareció un detalle muy útil. Y la piscina fue un auténtico regalo después de pasar el día fuera. ¡La disfrutamos muchísimo! Un alojamiento muy cuidado, tranquilo y acogedor. Sin duda, una estancia para repetir.
−Si tuviera que decir algo negativo, es el tramo de subida hasta el alojamiento.

“petit paradis a Mazunte”
+L'emplacement prêt de la plage, le cadre calme, l'intimité de chaque cabane. Un refri et ventilateur est disponible dans la chambre. Le coin piscine est sympa. La Señora Imelda est très attentive à nos besoins.

“En Amaia”
+El lugar es agradable. La cabaña es hermosa. Es amplia y la cama, cómoda.
−Estaba en la pileta, sentada en la noche, cuando un insecto grande me golpeó el hombro: era una cucaracha muy grande. Salí corriendo! jajaja Entiendo eso sucede en lugares muy calientes, pero ni modo.
