“We loved it”
+This was a very practical choice geographically for us as we were down from the north of Scotland for a few days, visiting family in East Kilbride and Ayr as well as Bishopbriggs. The hotel has a cosy, compact feel and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space, and a lovely shower (albeit over the bath). Breakfast was very nice, with a good choice - and well done to whoever was in charge of the fruit platter for making it so appealing. We found the cafetiere coffee a little weak for our tastes and requested stronger which was provided, no bother. We ate in the evenings on three nights and thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried - the small plates were excellent too. The hotel is just around the corner from the train station which provided speedy transit into Glasgow Central station as well as East Kilbride.
−Nil. I assume some rooms would be deemed 'accessible' as you otherwise need to be quite nimble to rotate over the side of the bath, and around the shower screen without any grab rails to hold onto. We managed! And we were fine using the stairs - the lift was described as being 'a little temperamental' - so again I'd advise checking accessibility if that could be an issue.

“Overall a very pleasant experience and ideal situated for experiencing places of interest.”
+The Breakfast was ideal and the range of food available was also ideal, It was not crowded at any time and the atmosphere was good. No adverse comments about the Breakfast.
−The accommodation was as we expected, our only suggestion is the increase in size of the hand basin in the bathroom. No room to wash or wet shave and filling the kettle was only achievable by using the glass provided in the Bathroom.

“Nice hotel in Busby.”
+Very clean, comfy bed, friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and good coffee! Walking distance from train station.
−Workmen outside the window early in the morning making noise. I appreciate they had a job to do but we should have been forewarned.

“Do not book if your looking for a good Scottish Breakfast”
+Convenient Comfortable Clean
−Breakfast was very disappointing Tea cold Asked for 2nd pot of tea and hot water, luke warm Poached egg took 10 minutes longer to arrive than cooked breakfast. Maybe they were waiting for the very small hen to lay the egg! Cooked Breakfast was the cheapest of ingredients, tasteless, and very thinly cut, not warm either. No milk in bedroom and only one Tunnocks Teacake for two of us. One coffee sachet was already open.
