“Lovely mid week break”
+Tarquina warmly welcomed me when I arrived. Bumbleberry Cottage is in a great, peaceful location and a good base for exploring the Wirral, Chester, Cheshire Oaks, Wrexham, and more. The room was spotlessly clean, with a lovely walk-in shower in the en-suite. There were hot drink making facilities and milk in the fridge. Tarquina also gave us home baked treats every evening, which were delicious. The breakfast was amazing; continental with lots of cold cuts and cheese, croissant, pain au chocolate, and toast. Pots with layers of fruit, yoghurt, and granola. The traditional cooked breakfast option looked great, too. Tarquina happily also offers a selection of evening meals. I had lasagne, salad, and garlic bread, which was delicious. There is a wonderful pub about 15 mins walk from the property and several other suggestions made in the guest information pack.
