“Sensibly priced accommodation in Gilgil and all good at this price point. Slept very well”
+Location was perfect for me, convenient to have reception and gate staff available for late arrival. The omelette at breakfast was fabulous. Staff are really kind and everyone happy 😊
−Everything was as expected at this price point

+Breakfast was a good prepared breakfast
−Poor WiFi (almost non-existent) Extremely slow waiters and service Lodge in urgent need of proper maintenance Food were disappointment, and took literally hours to prepare. You have to pay every time you order, no option to pay on the room number on checkout. Charge 1000ksh for room service, but take hours to deliver to the room

“The accommodation was fair but was lacking the necessary comforts when traveling for work.”
+The location was well-suited for our needs, and the bed was comfortable. The hot water bottle was an added extra.
−No warm water and very little water pressure. The room did not include a desk place to sit and work comfortably.

“I had a peaceful solo stay at Brooks Lodge & Spa,the service was warm and attentive, the food was fr”
+The accommodation was impressive. My room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with cozy bedding and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and homeliness, making it easy to fully relax and unwind. The food was another highlight. Every meal felt fresh and well-prepared, with a nice mix of local and international flavors. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, you could tell care was put into both presentation and taste. Overall, Brooks Lodge & Spa is a hidden gem perfect for a solo getaway, a reset, or even a quiet weekend away. If you’re looking for tranquility, good service, and a refreshing environment, this is definitely a place I’d recommend.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our one niight stay.”
+EXCELLENT , GREAT LOCATION, BEAUTIFUL VIEW , VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.
−The bathroom should have a shower curtain as water splashes everywhere and there are chances of one slipping and falling down.

“The room was good, stuff we met were lovely.”
+The landscaping in the resort
−No restaurant where we spent the night and had to walk in the main building. Ordered food and meat was not fresh. Couldn’t finish the meal and when we reported we were not offered something else.
