+Great stay! We loved the location, beautiful views into the mountains and serene quiet away from the busy main stretch. Food was delicious and well priced, everything felt easy and comfortable!

+Broad view ♥️ This place is very nice, calm, and peaceful. The hospitality is fantastic! We had traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was also very nice. All the food is homemade, which makes the experience even more special. The room was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. I absolutely loved this place! It is also conveniently located, very close to Ella town and other popular tourist destinations. The owners are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. I will definitely visit again! ♥️

+The view was nice, internet was good, room was comfortable.
−Hospitality was awful. This was one of the more expensive homestays in Ella and the hosts were very stingy. They charged exorbitant amounts for additional amenities such as laundry or tuk tuk and gave very small, poor quality portions for breakfast and dinner. There were two of us & we had booked two rooms but they only provided dinner for one guest, & made the other person pay. Even the tea (tea bag & non-dairy creamer packet) was low quality and tasted poorly. It felt like they only cared about how much money they could make out of us & were very stand-off-ish.

“Good value for money but accessibility might be an issue!”
+The guest house is located in the nature outside from Ella’s main street, making it very peaceful but at the same time not isolated. You can easily reach the centre either walking 20 min or with a tuktuk. The staff was very kind and breakfast was typical and delicious.
−The room and bathroom were lacking some furniture (wardrobe etc). The address on booking does not match the real entrance and we had a lot of troubles finding it by car. The most comfortable entry requires 170 steps, so it’s not very accessible to everyone.

“10/10 experince here, super friendly hosts!”
+Our whole experience staying at Broad View was exceptional. The rooms were to a very clean standard, the best we’ve experienced so far in Sri Lanka. The beds are comfortable and a fan was provided (AC isn’t needed here). The breakfast is included in the price and it was amazing. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They cooked breakfast freshly every morning and served it to us at our desired time. The owners cute dogs were a bonus! The location was good, approximately a 20-minute walk into Ella centre. The property is situated at the top of a steep hill, offering scenic views of the mountains. Overall our stay was incredible value for money, we couldn’t recommend this place enough. We didn’t want to leave!

+inclusief ontbijt met een mooi uitzocht.
−Om de kamers te bereiken moet je via een steile trap naar boven. TukTuk willen niet via de weg naar het hotel omdat deze aan een steile weg ligt. let vooral op als je slecht ter been bent, want je zal trappen moeten lopen.
