“A wonderful cosy lodge just a short walk from Hadrian's Wall.”
+The Lodge was very cosy and comfortable and it's location was great. We were only half a mile from Hadrian's Wall, which we could see from the kitchen window. The Inn at the end of the garden was great too and had lots of gluten free options too .

“Ed & Lydias’ attention to detail makes for a very special stay.”
+Clean, well equipped with lots of thought put into making our stay as comfortable as possible. Great drying room with little extras like shoe freshener. Shower pressure and temp fabulous with all that is needed provided. Breakfast was lovely, good coffee & the eggs from the resident ducks were a treat. Special dietary requirements were easily accommodated with kindness and easy. Dinner at the local in (a 2 min walk) was perfect. Fabulous food and great service. We will be back and highly recommend this as a base to visit a multitude of historical sites. Ed & Lydia are very knowledgable about the area and able to recommend places to visit as well as good food options. This has been by far the best accommodation on our 5 days cycling Hadrian’s Wall Cycleway.
−It’s one of the best places to star gaze but unfortunately it was cloudy……. get in touch early and book a cloudless evening 😉
