+Good communication with the owner. Accomodation very well equipped. Nice specious rooms. Great location with walking distance to the metro station as well as historical center. Kitchen fully equipped. Toiletries provided by the owner. Excellent care for the guests, no problems with booking, keys, access. If anything needed (like storage of the luggage or extra blankets) all provided promptly.
−Two bathrooms were not enough for the amount of people staying. This caused waiting for the use of toilet and shower in the busiest times of the day as well as the need for more frequent cleaning of the shared space and bathrooms. The doors have glass centres which causes the noise and light coming through during the night and can be disturbing to those who are asleep. It would be great if guests could use the washing machine.

+The location is perfect, close to the main walking mall that takes you to the city’s main attractions and riverfront, but also on a quiet side street giving you a respite from the crowds of tourists. Michael has many years experience running guest houses and it’s obvious in how well the kitchen is stocked and the rooms are laid out. I had a desk for doing work or planning out my day, and plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. The outdoor patio is great for relaxing, and Michael is very helpful with recommendations to tailor your stay in Porto.

+Really nice spot in a relaxed neighborhood, but still in walking distance to all points of interest. The room is cosy and spacious at the same time. Easy contact with the owner. Additionally it's actually a few metres away from the central route of Camino Portugues, so perfect for pilgrims.

−Bett war leider nur eine Art Zustellbett, das bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht hat.
