“Amazing stay at Breakfree Beachfront - would recommend and certainly stay ourselves again!”
+Amazing location, right across from the beach was brilliant especially with 2 young kids (19mo & 6yo). Easy stroll to Cavill Ave & convenient to jump on the tramp just in the street behind. The apartment size was also terrific! Really spacious! Dishwasher & all your usual kitchen appliances which was super handy. We stayed at a hotel last year but having a full size fridge, microwave and kitchen facilities was really beneficial. Outdoor pool & indoor pool were great inclusions too, we visited both once each only as we spent more time at the beach & out and about but great to fall back on when needed. We also had a phenomenal view from the balcony!
−The only things we noticed that could do with an improvement was the shower heads - the water flow was very low pressure.

+Plenty of hot water for showers, room was reasonable, but a lot of things need attention & are not up to an acceptable standard. We have been staying here over the past 10 years and recommended it in the past to friends where they have also stayed here.
−The floor mat in the living area was stained and very dirty, There was not enough cutlery with only 2 knives between 5 people. There was no dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, dish cloths or tea towels. There was a mop but no sponge on it. One bed sheet had a spot of blood stained on it from other people. I handed a pillow into reception as it was stained yellow on both sides and absolutely disgustingly filthy from other people's sweat and we had been sleeping on it, the last day i removed the cover to place it on the washing machine for washing and was absolutely disgusted by the state of the pillow . Some cutleries still had food stuck to it from the last people, the floor tiles needed a good mop. The floor plan evac on the back of the door was outdated. The air conditioner on the balcony had an empty bottle on the tiles and the dirt has built up at the back of it. It needs a good clean and is not a great view when sitting in the living area.

+So close to centre of surfers paradise and directly on the beach, heaps of space in apartment. Very good value for money

+Location was fabulous and the views were outstanding. The staff we saw were really friendly and helpful
−Cleanliness let them down a little. There was some mould in the shower and lots of dust build up on the bedroom lamps on the side tables.

−The apartment 9c was nice but needs updating. Lots of wear and tear. We were there for 8 days and 2 out of 3 lifts were not working for half the stay

+I liked the reception staff who was very helpful. The location was very convenient for our needs.
−Our flight was delayed , which meant our check in was after hours , which the security guy was useless and no help. So my kids and I had to sleep in our car for 1 night. And wait to check in , in the morning. All because booking.com canceled our booking on us before we arrived . As we were still in the air!!
