“My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! The owners were such lovely people - so friendly, welcoming and full of usef”
+My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! The owners were such lovely people - so friendly, welcoming and full of useful information. The property is beautiful and perfectly located, just a short walk from Ambleside town centre and all the local amenities. And wow, what a fantastic breakfast! Plenty of fresh orange juice, coffee and a huge, delicious breaktast with lots of toast - just what you need to set you up for the day! Aide is like a walking encyclopaedia and has so many wonderful tips and recommendations on where to eat, walk, visit and explore. ↓ We really can't thank you both enough for making our stay so special. We had a wondertul time and would highly recommend Brantfell House to anyone visiting the beautiful Lake District. Thank you both so much for your warm hospitality. We hope to see you again!

“Friendly guesthouse experience, good food, close to shops and restaurants, no lift.”
+A very friendly guesthouse, Mandy and Adie were so friendly and very helpful. We had the full English for breakfast, fabulous food, not greasy, very tasty. The room was a good size, comfy bed and pillows. The location was perfect, close to shops and restaurants, easily walkable.
−Just one thing gave us a problem. Although the room was very good, it was on the top floor with many stairs and no lift. It would have been good to know this before we booked as my husband has a problem with his leg. Thankfully Adie carried our suitcase to the room. ..thank you.
