“Great unique hotel experience in the heart of Astoria. Love having the sea lions as our neighbours for the evening.”
+Beautiful property and full of character. Industry style property throughout leaning on its past, and they have done a fantastic job. The location is superb and an easy walk to main of the main Astoria place of interest and local dining/breweries. Outdoor fire pit a lovely touch and view area for the sea lions is amazing and so unique. The rooms are fab and shower is nice and hot and powerful. We used the location on the boardwalk for an early morning run - the town is full of runners if that’s your thing. Great little Italian restaurant a few minutes walk away - Fede - is well worth dining at whilst in Astoria. We were bothered by sealion noise but they have ear plugs and a noise machine in the rooms should they be needed. We didn’t use them.
−We do not drink alcohol, and although it was a lovely touch to be offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival, it would have been nice to have been offered an alternative to the alcoholic beverage as an arrival drink. With nothing it feels like you’re missing out a little compared to other guests.

“Unique experience in a great location”
+Very unique experience. The amenities were great. So glad I upgraded and did the water side balcony
−I woke up during the night thinking someone was moving furniture. It’s the hotel moving on the pier that causes noise.

“cool vibe. great location.”
+fun vibe as a renovated cannery. we liked the location near the trolley tracks (which we hopped on and enjoyed it. the driver gave a running commentary) Very cool furnishings and comfy beds. we liked our city view so we didn’t hear the sea lions too much. lovely patio to view the sea so we got plenty of sea views AND sleep.
−staff was average.

+Nice hotel in a great location. Wish there was complementary breakfast. Extra things you have to pay for like an early check in, which I didn’t love.
