+Very Clean, cosy room, welcoming staff, attentive, present and open to conversations. The perfect location for our Sibiu city break, as it is in the heart of the city, and exploring the old town was incredibly easy. Everything is within walking distance from Boutique 17B, and even offers an incredible pool experience for an extra cost, something pretty exclusive for Sibiu.

“Unfortunately negatives outweigh the positives for a decent stay in Sibiu”
+Large room, comfortable bed, friendly host, given a downstairs room for easier accessibility
−Location not great if you want easy access to restaurants and cafes. Wifi only available in courtyard (not possible to sit in when a private pool party is underway) No way of blocking out light coming into room from lighting above pool Coffee machine but no coffee, paper cups (surely a “boutique” could provide proper cups) No shelf in shower for soap etc Felt very awkward going to and from room when private pool party in progress

“Beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional staff, a perfect location, and a lovely atmosphere. A memorable stay.”
+Boutique 17B exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptional,so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They went above and beyond by arranging a lovely birthday surprise for my mum, which made our stay even more special. The facilities are beautiful, and the rooms are stylish, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for exploring Sibiu on foot, with everything just a short walk away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
−Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The only minor points were that our room wasn’t serviced during our stay, and although there was a coffee machine in the room, no coffee capsules were provided. We also had to leave early in the morning before the bar opened, so it would have been nice to have been able to make a coffee before setting off.

+The courtyard with pool was nice.
−We did not like our room - it was an attic room on the top floor with posts in the middle of the room that we kept hitting our heads on. The skylight was the only window and in the morning the sun woke us up early. Also, all night long there were flashing lights from the pool below. There was also a constant drip noise that sounded like chirping every 5 minutes, which kept us awake. We could not figure out where it was coming from to turn it off. The towels were threadbare. Finally there was a very long and narrow staircase we had to navigate, which made carrying our suitcases extremely difficult. Would not recommend staying here.

“Beautiful place, but really cold.”
+It was exactly like in the pictures.
−It was really cold, and the AC was not working, it was about 15 degrees. No slippers, no soap, half of toilet paper available.
