“A lovely romantic getaway.”
+The common areas, grounds and room were lovely, the indoor pool was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
−Some ceilings are very low, if you are tall, take care with bumping your head.

+Breakfast was delicious, hot and well cooked. Decor and style of the property was great
−Enid bathroom: no hot water from sink tap, downlighting casts shadows as opposed to illuminates.

+From the moment we opened the front door we felt “comfortably at home” in this wonderful and historic boutique hotel full of interesting, eclectic treasures and art all around the house, formally the home of a local Tin Mine Captain. It was a late booking for us as we were heading to the Eden Project (totally recommend also) early the following morning. (5-10 minutes car drive away) Boscundle Manor was a really lovely surprise with great service, perfect menus and delicious food for dinner and breakfast. We will book again, hopefully in spring/summer when we will also be able to sit at any of the delightful garden table settings in their extensive grounds.

“It worked well for us as its situation was near The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens.”
+Quirky. Great swimming pool. Quiet. Excellent cooked breakfast.
−Poor internet availability. Because of poor internet, the tv was limited to basic channels. No safe in room. Bed too soft for my taste. Breakfast was expensive if you just wanted a continental breakfast.

“Very enjoyable and relaxing”
+Quaint old building with some nicely laid out public spaces. Our bedroom was cosy and warm and had all the facilities we needed, including a good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served exactly as I asked and was very tasty.
−Minor points, dainty china cups for coffee at breakfast are not my thing. The sugar comes in big lumps so if you only want a small amount of sugar in your coffee its difficult. If relying on public transport to get around you need to plan carefully as the local bus only runs hourly during the day and less in the evening. The local cabs are however fairly cheap and reliable.
