“Look for better hostels if you value your sanity”
+The location is close to all amenities and you meat some lovely girlies on your journey.
−I came here when it was still owned by Ade, who made sure it was clean at all times, he had strict rules of who can stay and just general rules being followed and I really appreciated the 10% offer off drinks & food that he had for people staying in the hostel, and there was a nice atmosphere to it. But since new management/ownership took over, I noticed lack of cleanliness, toilets and showers aren't as clean as they should be, the female dorms are clean to a minimum (literally just change bedding), it's very dusty. Obviously they only care about the money so they allow anyone to just stay here (one guy was smoking weed & tobacco near the showers). It was a bit too hot in the room and I tried to turn it down but the radiator knob - broken, the bedroom window - broken, the place is very dated, no kitchen available and most of all, they don't check the fridge AT ALL because the amount of outdated food and the smell coming from it was absolutely disgusting. And to top it all up, they gor rid of tbe Kitchen, no music, no energy and they charge £1.50 for a can of coke. JUST AVOID this place for your own sanity!!

“Very bad place”
+The only upside was that I lived close to work.
−It was dirty, the rooms smelled bad, and on top of that, I was bitten by bed bugs,a fact the reception staff completely brushed off. The place is an absolute breeding ground for bed bugs. I do not recommend it; this establishment should be shut down. After the incident, I requested a refund, which I did receive. They allowed me to do some laundry, but afterward, they told me to leave the reception area, leaving me with wet clothes and no time to find alternative accommodation. There is a total lack of respect for guests. The bathrooms are in critical condition, filthy and covered in mold.

“Absolute last resort”
−The showers felt quite old and run down. The toilets occasionally had flies in them and did not smell the cleanest. The heater in our private room did not work. There are only one set of showers and one set of toilets in the whole building. Some of the staff are inexperienced and likely issued our room code wrong, leading to us being locked out of our room at 11pm and needing to contact another member of staff, while we were cold and being rained on after a long night out.

“Avoid at all costs”
+Nothing
−Firstly, we got there and we were given a room that had still somebody elses stuff inside. That was a weird start but ok. They gave us another room so we went there. As we were walking through the hallway Everything was dirty, broken and stinky. Bathroom was unusable. I had never been in such a dirty bathroom in my life, felt like a bad joke. Food in the carpets of common areas and water machine had mould like everything else in there. You have to use bluethooth to get through your door so don’t forget you phone inside i guess. Overall a strange atmosohere. Jail is probably more confortable and cleaner. Thankfully I was only there for a night.
