“Cracking value B & B”
+Fantastic service provided, great location and on site parking. The staff were all very friendly, lovely little bar with a good choice of drinks and a cracking full English breakfast. The decor in some of the rooms is a little dated however they were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Definitely booking again for next year.

“Good enough”
+We chose this hotel as it was close to the Winter Gardens. However, I had not anticipated that we would be waken up middle of the night by drunk people hammering on our hotel door. Next time I would chose a hotel that is further away from the city centre as my 10 year old and I got a bit scared by what we have experienced. This has obviously nothing to do with the hotel itself and the staff. Breakfast was Ok. Again next time I would opt out of this as I can get a better coffee outside with a simple sandwich that would definitely taste better. However it was convenient and staff tried very hard to make our stay the best. We were offered even an early breakfast as we had to leave on one of the days earlier than the official breakfast time which I really appreciate.
−I had not imagined the bed this small. I had to share my bed with my 10 year old daughter and it was a bit tight.

“Ideal location for the town centre.”
+The location was perfect being so close to the town centre. The hosts were lovely. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and vegetarians catered for. The place was very clean, the bedding and towels were fresh.
−The room was too small for us, even though I had gone for double room rather than the small double. The bathroom and shower was also small and my partner who is 6ft 2 struggled as did I . We felt for the price of the room it should have been bigger and the parking at the property included, as it is at previous places we have stayed in Blackpool, rather than an extra £5 per night.

“Thoroughly excellent.”
+I was very happy with my stay at the Boltonia. I was very happy with the room, it was better than I expected. I had a big double bed, wardrobe, shelves and bedside table as well as a TV. The bathroom was very good with a large sink, a compact but very good shower. The bathroom was good and everything worked very well. The room was spotless, the whole guest house was remarkably clean and well taken care of. I had a good experience checking in, the staff were great and very professional. I liked the lounge area which also has a small bar, it is a nice area to just sit in and gather your thoughts before you go out etc. I was happy about the breakfast service in the morning, it was in a separate dining area to the lounge, and was very nicely laid out. There was cooked buffet breakfast, plus all the cereals you could want, including fruit, fresh yoghurt, fruit juices, etc. There was a great coffee machine which had very good coffee, lattes, and tea. There are herbal teas available too, and there is a nice little toasting machine for your bread. It is a very well run B and B. I liked the decor which is somewhat vintage and its nice to have old pictures on the walls of Blackpool over the

+The location was great for us just around the corner from the winter gardens. Parking was available for us on arrival. Breakfast was great every morning, plenty of choice. Beds were super comfy and beds serviced daily.
