+This is the perfect place. An island of mangroves and coral with no cars and welcoming community. Ismael and his uncle have made the perfect place to stay. Simple clean cabins with your own beach and jetty. We walked and snorkelled. Saw freshly planted corals and beautiful birds. I recommend it.

“Relaxing eco-glamping experience”
+We would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet spot in nature to relax. It was a wonderful glamping-style experience and Ismail was such a pleasant and easygoing host. The food we had was all fresh and tasty, and we would stay here again. Beautiful and special location, even if the weather wasn’t on our side while there, we still really enjoyed this hideaway. +We had a wonderful 1 night stay on Wasini Island. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from busy city life and technology and reconnect with nature. The room has a beautiful sea view and it was amazing to watch monkeys jumping through the trees while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The silence and calm make this place truly special. Ismail is a fantastic host, friendly, open-minded, and passionate about protecting and sharing the beauty of his island. If you’re looking for a unique escape, this is the place to stay.

“Off the beaten path”
+For something unique and incredibly special, this place is it! Professional, well-spoken, very helpful host, Ismail will meet you at the boat and welcome you to a lovely cottage in the bush. Easy transfer with beautiful scenery. Cottage is clean, everything is taken care of, you sleep to the sound of waves and nature. It is safe and you can do a walking tour to see the friendly, local village. Healthy, fresh meals of big portions are served at the dining area up between the trees. An unforgettable experience on the small island of Wasini for those who like to go off the beaten path and experience authentic bush/beach life. Ismail will also help you book your tour to the National Park, he was extremely helpful every step of the way and made sure I was happy with everything. Unbeatable service. Thank you to the owner and hosts who welcome visitors to experience your beautiful piece of Earth and showing great Swahili hospitality. What a blessing to be so close to God՝s creation.

+We especially loved the peaceful, secluded setting of Blue Monkey Beach Cottage, surrounded by nature and with breathtaking ocean views. The cottage had a rustic, authentic charm that made us feel connected to the island, while still being cozy and comfortable. Ismael was an incredible host,he arranged fresh, delicious seafood meals, organized boat trips and snorkeling, and was always there to help with anything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of Wasini Island.

“Beautiful and nature-friendly eco-housing with wonderful local food.”
+It was really a very special and unique experience to stay at Blue Monkey. Everything is simple but well thought through, so I wasn't missing anything. The solar panel allowed to keep the phone charged even though the place is not grid connected, showering with the bucket is no problem. Ismail is the most friendly and helpful host you could imagine. He showed me the village, helped organize a snorkel tour and had a lot to tell about the history of the place and the village. Wasini island is stunning with coral reefs, mangrove forests, dolphins swimming nearby. Overall, highly recommended!
−Like everywhere along the coast, there is quite a bit of plastics pollution washed up to the island. Ismail and others try there best to keep beaches clean, but this is Sisiphus work.

“Nos gustó mucho”
+Lugar sencillo pero con mucho encanto. Lo lleva un chico joven que se llama Ismail y que es muy espabilado y atento. La comida te la prepara él y estaba todo muy bueno y fresco. El pueblito y la zona tienen su encanto. Obviamente no hay wifi pero hay cobertura. Todo estaba limpio. Nos ayudaron con el parking en Shimoni y con una excursion de snorkel.
−No es que no me gustara, solo para que lo tengais presente. La isla no tiene agua corriente, te proporcionan unos cubos con agua limpia para que puedas ducharte. En general es un espacio "rustico" en medio de una selva en una isla, si estas a gusto dejando atras ciertas comodidades, es un lugar idilico.
