+You can’t get a better view of Ella than the view offered by Blooming Rose! (No photo can do it justice). We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and could not do enough for us - to the extent that they voluntarily offered to wake up at 5am to drive us to our morning hike! They helped up with lifts into town and also long drives when touring the island. They also accommodated our last minute travel changes. We also cannot forget to mention the breakfast prepared for by the host and family. It was absolutely delicious!

“Absolutely love!”
+The view was everything! Not only did you wake up to the beautiful views of the waterfall and Ella Rock, we were served a beautiful breakfast each morning. The room was a good size, with seating on the balcony to soak up the view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was brand new - very clean. Anything we needed during our stay was met by the owner including tuk tuk service to town and taxi service to our next destination.

“Best stay in Ella”
+We came on our honeymoon trip to sri lanka- Blooming rose was one if not the best place we stayed all trip! The owner was amazing, helped us with everything. The room was beautiful, the view was incredible.

−Have to walk down/up a LOT of stairs. Cars can’t come down the road so need to either walk or get a Tuk Tuk

“A Memorable Stay at Blooming Rose Ella”
+Tucked away just about 15 minutes walk away from town centre, Blooming Rose Ella is a beautiful place with incredible views all around. We immensely enjoyed the breakfast! In fact, we all noted it was the best breakfast we have had since the beginning of our trip. They will arrange a free tuk tuk for pick up for you which was a great touch. Communication was clear and quick from booking till the end. They also made travel arrangements for us for our onward journey which was of huge help!! The most outstanding thing about Blooming Rose are the people! The owner is so kind, helpful and just a genuine person, and you can immediately sense it when you meet him. He offered us great insights and tips, and was very accommodating. We would also like to thank the other two gentlemen who worked there who helped us with our luggages and other matters. I would definitely come back here and would recommend!

“Wat een heerlijk gastvrije accommodatie in Ella!”
+Wat een gastvrije eigenaren/famile die deze homestay exploiteren! Mooie van alle gemakken voorziene locatie, gelegen buiten het toeristische centrum van Ella en met een fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen rond Ella. Gastvrije ontvangst met heerlijke thee. Service en dienstverlening staat bij de familie hoog in het vaandel genoteerd. De familie kan op verzoek je met een eigen tuktuk ophalen bij het station in Ella, kan je ook meenemen op een tour naar alle highlights in en rond Ella zoals een theefabriek en bieden de mogelijkheid tegen een prima prijs je met hun luxe auto naar je volgende bestemming te brengen Er wordt een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd.
−De route naar de kamers vanaf de weg waar de tuktuk stopt, heeft aardig wat trappen naar beneden. Dat komt omdat de accommodatie gericht is op de vallei/bergen en zicht heeft op een deel van de spoorlijn. Geen probleem met bagage...., deze wordt boor je naar beneden gebracht. Daarnaast wordt de accommodatie toekomstig uitgebreid hetgeen qua aanbouw zichtbaar is. De weg naar Blooming Rose vanuit het centrum voert langs een enorme stinkende vuilnisbelt. De geur verdwijnt gelukkig nadat je verder de berg oprijdt richting accommodatie.

“Skøn udsigt til vandfald og tæt på byen.”
+Beliggenheden og udsigten. Morgenmaden var god. Og der var rent, da vi ankom på.
−Der blev ikke gjort rent under opholdet. Og der manglede varmt vand specielt om morgenen.

“Kamers met een fantastisch uitzicht!”
+Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras van onze kamers op Ella Rock, little Adams peak, de trein en een waterval. Een hele vriendelijke, trotse eigenaar die het samen met zijn 2 zoons runt. Heerlijk ontbijt.
−Er is een steile weg naar de accommodatie die niet elke auto/minivan kan of durft te nemen. Maar dat is niet echt een probleem, want je wordt door de zoons met de tuktuk naar boven gebracht, evenals de koffers. De kamers zijn vrij eenvoudig.

“Un merveilleux séjour”
+La vue était sublime alors avec leur petits-déjeuners délicieux c’était un régal. Le personnel est très gentil et présent dès qu’on a besoin. Si un jour on revient à Ella, on reviendra c’est certain.
