+The views from it were superb, especially in the morning. And kept very clean, the rooms were very nice to stay in. The owners were very welcoming and always assisted us with any advice or help. Definitely would recommend!
−The route to get down to the property was a bit difficult as not a smooth route so at night it’s a bit dangerous to walk down

+We had an amazing stay at Blackcherry Homestay! It is beautifully and peacefully located in the middle of the tea plantations. Sylvia and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We joined Sylvia for a tour of the tea plantations and took a cooking class with her. Both experiences are highly recommended if you want to discover Munnar! The food was absolutely delicious, and we had such a wonderful time enjoying the warm hospitality and lovely atmosphere. All in all, a fantastic place that we will look back on with very fond memories! ❤️

+Our stay at Blackcherry was wonderful. The location is special, in front both of a tea plantation and of the valley with its forest. The room was new, basic but really clean and with this amazing windows on the outside. An incredible view! Breakfast was also amazing, as the availability and warmth of the host and the whole family. We did the tea plantation and waterfall tour suggested and we found it very worthy; we walked alone in a beautiful route in the plantations with the host explaining everything to us and bringing us lunch, with no crowds. Highly recommended.

“Hidden gem and amazing food”
+Now this was great peaceful place, with amazing hospitality. With views like this you could spend the whole just relaxing with book. Or go on one of Sylvies tea tour she is very knowledgeable about the area. She is also gives market tour with cooking class, her food is amazing and boy she loves to feed you. Her family are very helpful aswell and friendly, helping carrying your bags down and up the track to taxi, tut tut area.(they even organised transport) This is hidden gem.

−The day tour was v poor, 2800inr for a tuctuc ride to a garden centre and some roads pretty much. Honestly I left after three days feeling maybe Munnar isn't really worth visiting Advice for alternative trekking options etc absent, even felt deliberately misleading to make me do more of their own tours Massage recommendation poor Kitchen was dirty and insanely unhygienic Patio does not look like photo , covered in dirt and building materials stacked up Laundry overpriced Not hot shower

+The best thing about Blackcherry is the hosts. Sylvi, Babu and their family are incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. We loved staying here and spending time with them. The food was also amazing, Sylvi is a wonderful chef, as were the tours. The house itself is comfortable and clean in a great location with a lovely outdoor terrace.
