+The location was a 15 minute walk to Thamal , the staff were super friendly and so helpful, they can organize anything for you and nothing is too much trouble, they consistently go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Great place to stay on a budget
−It may look a little run down in places but the staff make up for this

+The hostel, managed by Mr. Sunny is simple, clean and comfortable. The rooms are nicely done and some have private bathrooms. The local food is excellent, also the breakfast. There is all kind of great fresh coffee!!! The staff are extremely friendly. The best part for me is the beautiful garden. It is a perfect place to sit and relax. The hostel is outside the busy city centre, which makes it peaceful and relaxing. Mr. Sunny, an excellent host, can also help organize many things, for example daytrips in and around Kathmandu or trekking tours, transfer aeroport. Mr. Badri organizes excellent treks around Pokhara and other parts of Nepal.

“A budget-friendly place at a convenient location with most necessary amenities and really great staff with a Buddhist sp”
+This is a great accommodation option for the price - getting separate individual rooms for me and my Mom didn’t hurt our budget, and we could have rest from each other during our dynamic travels. Quiet, not crowded. The location is great, you can easily reach Thamel on foot, shops and gym are nearby. The airport is not far either. There is an opportunity to leave your baggage at the hostel in case you’re going to another city for several days (we did it twice). There is a cafe with nice prices, big meals,REAL coffee, free drinking water, a kettle and microwave to use and a refrigerator to keep your own food if needed. And the most important thing is that the staff and owners are great people that are always ready to help you and show individual approach. There is a Buddhist spirit about this simple but very friendly place. For me, this is a place to come back! :) Note: Everywhere in Nepal we had issues with hot water, including the Best Hostel. If you want to make the bathroom experience here most comfortable, tell Sunny or helpers a bit in advance that you’re going to take shower and they will do their best to provide enough hot water for that. Be patient, keep contact, and all wi
