2.0“Worst motel I have ever stayed at in my entire life!”
+Stay away from this place! When I booked this, I checked out photos, reviews, and even used google earth to checkout the neighborhood... it looked like a cute neighborhood and for $130 a night, we thought we had found a great deal. WRONG!!! The only furniture was two plastic folding chairs and a plastic table with burn marks all over it. There wasn't a dead bolt or even a chain for the door. Vagrants loitering in the parking lot, the drapes were shredded, your feet stuck to the horrible tile floor, no lamp (just one bare hanging light bulb in the room), and the bathroom was disgusting. It was after midnight so we slept for a couple of hours in our clothes, because we were afraid to touch anything and then headed to Lake Tahoe as soon as the sun rose. This place is filthy and unsafe. If I could give them 0 stars I would have.
“Nice Family Trip”
+Had stayed here years ago and the upgrades and remodels were definitely apparent. Good AC and comfortable beds. Could be a bit cleaner, but still an old property that provided great service from check-in to daily room attention.
“Room for improvement, it was pleasant”
+I arrived a little early and got good parking. Had to check in through the night window. Building has no elevators. They are still renovating and it has future potential, but I have to rate it for the hospitality I received ion that day. I am glad the AC worked good. I understand hotels are trying to rent out rooms to recoup, unfortunately the ratings need to reflect a true review of the experience. The area seems secure, no room to turn around, so you have to reverse exit
+Small room
“Disgusting condition”
+Brown water droplets and dead bugs on the walls in the bathroom. Dirty walls. Sticky floor covered with dirt and hair. Hairs found in the bed, and in stained, folded towels. Microwave rusted completely through. People smoking weed in the parking lot during the day, and in the stairwell at night. Manager says that he cannot control what people do on his property. Also agreed that my complaints were valid and that the room was unacceptable, but refused to give even a partial refund (booked 3 nights, only stayed 1) since booking was not directly with the hotel. See submitted photos.
+There was a plastic table and muddy foot prints on the bathroom floor. Enough said.

2.0“Awful”
+Graffiti on badly patched wall. Torn curtains. Light switch didn’t work.
“Very inexpensive for the Bay Area (but beware)”
+I was going to be late checking in and the operators called me to check on my eta and to tell me that the onsite parking was already full, enabling me to snag the closest on-street slot. The older couple running the place are very nice and very helpful (especially when I locked my key in my room!). But as to the condition of the property... just to use 1 issue as an example - the curtains in my room (206) had recently been ripped off the wall (hardware included) and not properly re-attached so to prevent light entering and anyone on the walkway outside seeing clearly into the room I had to take one of the bath towels to cover the huge gap. Did I complain? No. Should I have? I don't know, it was the cheapest hotel by at least $40 when I did my search and it is very close to the 580 freeway (but not close enough to hear it) which my drive in the morning very easy.
+Parking was very limited and difficult to use. Homeless people staying at the hotel. Seems more like a apartment than a hotel
+No elevators, dirty room, old, nasty furniture in room
