“Great location to stay in Florence”
+Perfect location to dicover Florence by foot We were in Cepresso room with a view on a dull backyard, but probably much quieter than the rooms with view on the street and the bar below Very nice, original & convenient room arrangement Very friendly & helpful staff... through WeChat!
−Breakfast is served by the bar located downstairs, you can get cornetto & coffee from 8am, but you have to wait 9am to get a complete breakfast (very good by the way) which can be an issue for early museum birds like us. 😉 The limited on site staff presence (though always available digitally as mentioned above) makes this guesthouse much like a Airbnb, which didn't fully fit with our expectations.

“Absolutely fantastic and would return”
+The location was perfect! It's central and walkable to many things but also felt like a quiet spot tucked away. The staff was amazing and friendly.

“Glamour in the heart of Florence Old City”
+Can’t say enough about Benci House. It was around the corner from everything and Alessandra is the kindest most wonderful face to greet you in Florence. Beautifully designed, clean, convenient, comfortable, well priced. Book here for sure.
−Beware the 10-20 stairs if you have a massive suitcase like me

“Absolutely wonderful and will definitely be back!”
+Our stay at Benci House (Rovere) was wonderful. I had high hopes based on the photos, but upon arriving, everything was vastly exceeded. The design alone is worth the stay, different than any place I have stayed in Europe (reminded be of 1Hotels in the US), but the property is also located in a wonderfully convenient spot, walking distance to many of the sites. The service from check-in to departure was easy. We picked one of the bigger room offered, since there were two of us, and this is a perfect spot for a couples trip or for solo travel. If we are ever back in Florence, this will be our first booking!
−There weren't any "major" concerns for us here! One note - this room was located above the restaurant downstairs, so some noise/music does seep in, but we were so exhausted from our ventures around the city it didn't have any impact on our sleep quality! The biggest flag is that the air conditioning is located behind the curtain, so in order to have good airflow, you need to keep the curtains open which is not ideal for privacy, particularly at nighttime.

“Overall, this is a great place and good value for the money.”
+The location is perfect. The room is clean and modern.
−The AC is right by the window which means we cannot draw the curtains closed completely.

+Communication was great. We were late checking in because of train delays but were reassured that access was possible despite the hour. Location was Fab. Beds were great. Triple glazed, so quiet.
−Breakfast was elsewhere
