+We had a superb 4 day stay in the cool shady clean campsite with own ablution 😊 Staff in the resort and restaurant were excellent and couldn’t do enough to assist on any matters we will be back - plus location was special

+Staff all very friendly and always willing to help, our 4th visit and we will be back again. We love the peaceful island atmosphere the place has with many activities for those that are seeking adventure.

“2nd Stay”
+This was my second stay, this time with my 16-year-old son. We both enjoyed our stay immensely, Hetta and her team made sure we felt right at home.

+We had the most wonderful time camping at Bemugi's. A short walk to the beach, a site with electricity and hot water shower! Having the restaurant a stone's throw away was a great convenience for days we did not feel like cooking. Bem and Hetta were wonderful hosts and attended to our every need. We had two 4x4's with roof top tents. The lovely greenery provided shade for comfort!
“This place is a hidden Gem”
+Chalet/Cassita was clean, comfortable, situated very close to the beach and perfect for this setting. The Staff were friendly, professional and completely obliging. Booking was easy and we can't wait to visit again!

+Our new home away from home!! This was our second trip there and as usual Bemugi's didn't disappoint!! The owners Benji and Hetta and ALL the staff go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The accommodation is exceptional, and all rooms have aircons and mozzie nets. The kitchen is beautifully designed and is fully equipped. There is an amazing pool area with a restaurant and bar. Boat trip to Maputo, deep sea fishing and snorkelling are a must!!!! We simply cannot wait to be back there!!!

+It was a great pleasure to stay at the Bemugis resort, my second time in 2025. I first went with my husband in January and our stay was so wonderful that we decided to return with friends to celebrate my birthday. It really is a paradise, excellent service, delicious food, comfortable rooms. What we love most is the contact with nature, which gives us a sense of peace and a taste of wanting more. I will definitely come back again and recommend it 1000 times. Thank you
“Wonderful stay at Bemugi's”
+We were at a loose end in Maputo for a long weekend, and luckily someone suggested to us a getaway to Santa Maria. Not too many accommodations options are available online for Santa Maria, but Bemugi's immediately stood out as a cost-effective option with a number of price points. We had a wonderful stay in Casa 7 - the amenities were immaculate, the kitchen well-stocked for any eventuality, and the location under the trees was beautiful and peaceful. And the food at the restaurant was exceptional. Well-priced, fresh, and ample in proportion. And the service from all staff was friendly and professional. Can thoroughly recommend a stay at Bemugis - they can assist with organising transfers from Maputo to the peninsula, and in all areas were very accommodating.

+Arriving at Bemugis place is a whow moment. Dining tables are set in a lush garden with palmtrees and bougainvilleas. There is a huge swimmingpool. Hetta and Bemugi the owners treat you like they are friends. At the beach bar you can enjoy a stunning sunset that is unique in the world. The Indian Ocean surrounding is full of fish. Heaven for deep sea fishing. What you catch in the morning you eat for lunch or dinner. Last but not least: the area is a very, very safe. You can walk in the dark on a deserted beach without any danger. That is unique on the african continent.
