“Some positives, but felt extremely cheap and a very bad value for money. Can't recommend.”
+The staff was generally nice - they were well-intentioned and positive. The room was generally clean and the cleaning staff did a good job to fix the mess each day. The room size was adequate and it was generally quiet, despite booming music outside. The water was hot and the flow was nice, so showering was pleasant. The AC worked quite well and the indoor temperature was pleasant.
−The pricing wasn't low, yet everything that could be cheap was extremely cheap. The food was very basic and the selection was quite poor, given the turnout for lunch and dinner. I didn't enjoy it at all and despite the hotel being all inclusive, I mostly chose to spend additional money to eat at outside restaurants. They mostly employed children (I assume 16+) as staff and you could tell they were mostly inexperienced. The bed was uncomfortable - the mattresses were very old and stiff and the sheets weren't fitted, instead just a simple rectangle of cloth on the top side. If you turn once, it gets bunched up and now you're sleeping directly on the (not very clean) mattress. The room had very old furniture, very few and creaky AC outlets. There wasn't any comfortable seating in the room. The reception wasn't very helpful before the stay, quite slow during check-in and didn't even explain the facilities and dining hours properly.
