“comfortable base to explore Amman and northern Jordan with amazing staff”
+Fantastic downtown location! It is an easy walk to the Roman Theatre, Citadel, and plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff (Amro, Malek, and Hesham) are super friendly, speak excellent English and are incredibly helpful. They take security seriously and greet everyone who walks in the hotel who they don't recognize as a guest. I got some very good local recommendations (I tried a few of the kebab sandwich shops they mentioned!) and reserved my JETT bus ticket to Petra. The rooms are very comfortable with strong showers and excellent daily housekeeping (including fresh towels and bottled water). I loved the rooftop hangout area, the strong Wi-Fi, and the purified water dispenser in the lobby. It's a small hotel with about a dozen rooms. Would absolutely stay here again!
−There is some traffic noise, but keeping the windows closed really helps reduce it. Also, because of the heavy traffic directly in front of the hotel, taking a taxi or Uber to and from the property can be a bit slow in the afternoon and evening. Lastly, the shower design doesn't allow the water to drain very quickly.

+Jack was such a wonderful host, and really wanted to make my stay comfortable. I was upgraded, at no cost, to a quiet, cool room. He made sure I was comfortable, and I'm so grateful to him and the team at Beirut Hotel.
−It's a little noisy, but I expected it, given the neighborhood. Jack arranged for a quieter space for me, and I'm so grateful.

−I accidentally left my original phone charger plugged into the socket when I checked out. I called the hotel as soon as I realized, and I was told that they “didn’t find anything.” Interesting how a charger can disappear from a room immediately after a guest leaves. I expected basic honesty from a hotel, not a magic trick. 🪄 Lost my charger, but apparently the hotel found it more useful than I did. Very disappointing and definitely not a place I would trust with my belongings.

“رفضت الغرفه والفندق لم أقيم به”
+يعرضوا غرفه أصغر من حمام والرسيبشن تحت الدرج .. والدخول الى الفندق مباشرة من الشارع والدرج كأنه سلم ... حكيتلهم عيب أن تعرضوا هذا المكان للبيع غرفه اصغر من 8 أمتار ... لا تكفي لطفل بالحضانه ... جنبهم برج العرب فندق مقبول والغرف مقبوله انتقلت هناك لامضي سويعات قبل السفر لإسطنبول وفندق وبيروت تركت لهم الغرفه ليبيعوها لغيري إن وجدوا مشتري ... شيء مقرف حتى الان لم يعيدوا لي بوكينج المبلغ الذي دفعته ( حينما أدركت أن الغرفة صغيره قمت بإلغاء الطلب وبوكنج إفترحوا غرفه مقبوله مقابل زيادة مبلغ معين وافقت ولكن للأسف تفاجئت بمكان لا يمكن أن نطلق عليه غرفه بفندق !!؟؟

+Premesso che l'albergo ci ha proposto di spostarci al Beirut 2 (ed abbiamo accettato), l'albergo è ottimo per la sua categoria: posizione perfetta nel centro di Amman ed a poche centinaia di metri dalla Citadel. Il personale gentilissimo ci ha aiutato ad organizzare alcune escursioni e le stanze sono accoglienti e pulite. Unico neo la colazione un po scarsa (senza frutta e con pochi dolci), però avendo un buon frigor in camera abbiamo comprato noi il necessario per il breakfast. Il centro di Amman è molto trafficato e rumoroso, quindi una stanza ai piani alti e preferibile.
